    The Development Manager is a key member of WBGO’s development team, responsible for managing a portfolio of mid-level and major donors. This portfolio represents a significant source of contributed revenue and plays a critical role in supporting the station’s long-term sustainability and mission. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, the Development Manager will focus on cultivating, stewarding, and growing donor relationships through strategic, personalized engagement. This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration across departments including programming, marketing, and finance, and a forward-thinking, solutions-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, creatively strategic, and has a track record of success working in the arts and culture space. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule. Qualifications • 6+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, including direct management of a portfolio of mid-level and major donors., • Proven experience working in the arts and culture space is required., • Experience in public media and/or jazz music is a plus but not required., • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including board members, staff, community partners, and donors., • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills., • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism., • A resourceful, creative thinker who brings fresh approaches to donor engagement and problem solving., • Experience in internal and external communications, partnership development, and fundraising strategy., • Adept at using donor databases and CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred)., • Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and comfortable working cross-functionally., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously., • A commitment to WBGO’s mission and role as a cultural institution rooted in community and excellence.

    Mid-Bronx CCRP Head Start Job Description Teacher STATEMENT OF JOB The Teacher coordinates implementation of curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Head Start children. Encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program and their child’s education. To develop individual goals for children transitioning into programs, provide on-going observation and assessment of progress and facilitate transition into kindergarten. QUALIFICATIONS • BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or related field, or MA/MS in Early Childhood Education. • New York State Certification B-2, New York State Initial Certification, or New York State Professional Certification Birth-Grade 2 (Professional Certification mandates 30 hours of Professional Development every 5 years) • Two years teaching experience and/or supervised student teaching., • Physical Requirement: Physical examination (includes screening for tuberculosis) to show that the individual does not pose a risk to the safety and health of others because of communicable diseases. SPECIFIC DUTIES I. Classroom • Plans and implements the educational program for children by using Creative Curriculum and other resources. • Develop and utilize lesson plans, which reflect mandated elements, parental and cultural influences, and promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of Head Start children. • Individualize one-to-one group activities to reflect the unique needs and strengths of all children in the classroom, including those who are at risk, those with special needs, those who are gifted, and those who are culturally diverse. • Follow a consistent schedule, which includes small and large group experiences, choice time, music and movement, large and small motor activities, language and literacy, problem solving, two or three daily meals, and effective transition between activities. • Encourage experimentation, exploration, cooperation, socialization, ask open-ended questions and listen respectfully to the answers. • Provide an atmosphere that promotes and reinforces parental involvement in the classroom. 2 • Work with other staff and resources in developing specialized planning for children/families as needed, such as speech, occupational, physical, psychological therapist and nutritionist. • Always supervise and monitor children., • Respond to crisis or emergency situations that may occur. Provide first aid or CPR, prevent the spread of blood borne pathogens, and access emergency services as needed. • Accompanies children on trips., • Supervises Assistant Teachers and Volunteers in the classroom., • Participates in case conferences., • Holds parent teacher conferences., • Maintain accurate written records, including assessments, special education documentation, screening instruments, anecdotal observations, family contacts, lesson plans, monthly reports, form 10’s, documents for transition to public school and parent/teacher conference and other required forms. All communications are potentially sensitive and are subject to Head Start’s policy on confidentiality. II. Services • Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings to plan for and deliver collaborative services across all components with educational director and family worker. • Meet regularly with parents and other staff regarding each child’s status and progress. • Conduct required home visits for purposes of assessment and support, and to share information on parenting, educational strategies, and classroom progress. • Plan and conduct regular parent meetings with team members., • Schedule two parent/teacher conferences yearly – Fall and Spring, • Assist in recruitment efforts., • Attend In-Service Training, • Attend meetings, trainings, and appropriate professional development activities. • General maintenance and security of classroom, • Assist in inventory of all site equipment. We're not a franchise. We're your neighbors, and we're looking for a prep cook who cares as much about the people they serve as the products they make. The Role As our Juice Bar Prep Cook, you'll be the backbone of our daily beverage production. Working primarily during morning and mid-day shifts, you'll be responsible for preparing a high volume of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, nut milks, and wellness shots to meet our daily demand. This role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with front-of-house staff to ensure product quality and consistency. What You’ll Do Operate cold-press, centrifugal, and/or masticating juicers to produce daily juice batches Wash, chop, and portion fruits, vegetables, and herbs to recipe specifications Prepare smoothie bases, acai bowls, nut milks, and wellness/immunity shots Follow FIFO (first in, first out) inventory rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste Read and execute recipe cards accurately to ensure consistent product quality Thoroughly clean and sanitize all juicing equipment between production runs Monitor ingredient inventory levels and proactively flag low stock to the manager Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant prep station throughout each shift Assist with receiving and inspecting produce deliveries for quality Collaborate with team members to meet peak-hour production targets What We’re Looking For Required Minimum 1 year of hands-on juice bar or cold-press production experience (required) Demonstrated familiarity with juicing equipment and high-volume beverage prep Strong knowledge of produce quality, ripeness, and proper storage practices Valid NJ ServSafe Food Handlers Certification — must be obtained by start date Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Reliable availability including mornings, weekends, and some holidays High attention to detail and commitment to recipe consistency Preferred Knowledge of functional and wellness ingredients (adaptogens, superfoods, probiotics, etc.) Experience in a health-focused food or beverage concept Basic understanding of nutritional principles and common allergens Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Compensation & Perks Pay: $17–$19/hr depending on experience + tips Schedule: Full-time, approx. 35–40 hrs/week Benefits: Dental and vision coverage eligibility after 6 months of employment Perks: Paid wellness education Growth: Clear path to Lead Crew and Bar Manager roles for standout performers
