Job Description We are searching for an eager Level 2-3 Technician, ready to elevate their career path. This person must have strong communication skills and the ability to travel to clients as need be. They must have experience in the following: • Networking Support (Primary Focus):, • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, VLANs)., • Deploy and support network devices including firewalls, switches, routers, and access points., • Monitor network health using company tools, proactively resolve performance and connectivity issues., • Assist clients with secure remote access and mobile device management., • Server & Systems Administration (Primary Focus):, • Install, configure, and manage Windows and Linux servers (on-premises and cloud)., • Perform server patching, updates, backup, and disaster recovery processes., • Support Active Directory, file sharing, Microsoft 365, and cloud service integration., • Troubleshoot server outages and rapidly remediate issues to minimize client downtime., • Security & Compliance:, • Assist in implementing network and server security controls in line with CompCiti protocols and regulatory mandates (HIPAA, NYCRR 500, SOX, etc.)., • Respond to security incidents and participate in vulnerability assessments., • Help maintain managed security services and support cybersecurity monitoring., • Client & Project Work:, • Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients in NYC, including emergency and scheduled service calls., • Participate in new client onboarding, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades., • Document resolutions, system changes, and updates in ticketing and documentation tools., • Collaboration:, • Mentor Level 1 techs and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers., • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal teams. Qualifications: • 2-4 years' hands-on experience with managed networks and server administration, preferably in an MSP or IT services environment., • Advanced familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, UTM/firewall rules, VLANs, VPN setups, and networking hardware., • Solid experience with Windows Server and Active Directory, plus general Linux server administration., • Ability to troubleshoot servers, networking gear, and Internet issues on-site and remotely., • Exposure to cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure) and backup/disaster recovery best practices., • Recognized industry certifications preferred (CompTIA Network+, Server+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP/MCSA)., • Strong documentation, problem-solving, and client service skills., • Willingness to travel locally in NYC and participate in after-hours/on-call duties.Company DescriptionAs specialized Recruiters, we find hard to fill positions nationwide and match them with great candidates.As specialized Recruiters, we find hard to fill positions nationwide and match them with great candidates.
