The ideal candidate will provide excellent support to the dental team and ensure a comfortable and positive experience for patients. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Set up and breakdown treatment rooms before and after procedures Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Record patient medical and dental histories and vital signs Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Manage infection control by following proper protocols and procedures Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit Maintain dental supplies inventory and order as needed Support front desk tasks as needed (scheduling, billing, answering phones) We would prefer an assistant who is bilingual with Spanish and English but will not turn away anyone who does not speak Spanish.
