Job Description The Leap for Joy Foundation has been contracted to recruit for the STRTP positions of the Life Net Community Development Corporation's Real Life Center. The following position is currently available: JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Administrator - Exempt (Salary) Annual Salary Range: $70,000 to $85,000 Reports To: Executive Director Duties & Responsibilities: The Administrator shall be responsible for a group of Youth/Non-Minor Dependents (NMDs) and staff members. The duties include, but will not be limited to, the following: • Direct Supervision of Facility Manager, Lead Staff, and Child Care Counselors (CCC) and 6 youth/NMD males, and responsible for the day-to-day operation of all program components, • Conduct an initial orientation for new placements and send a letter of introduction or make a phone call to the child's family members and County Social Workers/Probation Officers., • Meet with staff and youth/NMD weekly and as needed to further treatment goals., • Assist Mental Health staff with treatment and discharge plans according to the TRLC program., • Write special incident reports and submit them promptly to county social workers/probation officers and community care licensing., • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members, youth, NMD families, County social workers, and probation officers., • Demonstrate good judgment, maturity, and temperament in caring for youth/NMD and the ability to work effectively with other staff members., • Chart mental health notes, treatment plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately per State and County guidelines., • Attend all required leadership meetings and trainings., • Maintain Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as required by Licensing., • Support youth/NMD and staff in conflict resolution complaint resolution and assist in de-escalating potential problems by staff and/or youth/NMD., • Ensure Community Care Licensing compliance and monitor Quality Assurance Systems., • Attend and regularly integrate training as provided into daily work practices. Minimum Qualifications: (A) Master's Degree in behavioral science from an accredited college or university, plus a minimum of two years of employment as a Social Worker in an agency providing congregate care for children OR (B) Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, plus three years of administrative experience or supervisory experience in social work, child care, and/or support staff providing direct services to children in an agency or community care facility. OR (C) Have completed at least two years at an accredited college or university, plus at least five years of administrative experience or supervisory experience in social work, child care, and/or support staff providing direct services to children in an agency or community care facility. Candidate must be 21 years or older. Bilingual Preferred. Also required: • Must demonstrate experience and knowledge in good communication, supervisory, and team-building skills., • Excellent writing and documentation, • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office - MS Word & MS Excel at a minimum, • Possess a current Administrator Certificate as approved by the State of California Community Care Licensing., • Strong ability to establish genuine working relationships with youth/NMD, administrators, managers, and other community stakeholders and providers, • There is clear evidence of cultural competency and sensitivity, including understanding socioeconomic and cultural diversity, gender identity and expression, and the ethnic backgrounds of the population served., • Active ability to collaborate and communicate across the agency while also being able to interact with youth/NMD and other key community liaisons, • Availability to attend all Staff meetings, In-Service Training, and other mandatory training sessions. (Training calendar dates available at TRLC), • Valid CA Driver's License & proof of ability to work in the United States, • Must be available at least 20 hours per week Job Functions: • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing., • Strong leadership skills and problem-solving abilities, including performing duties under time constraints, establishing priorities, managing a daily schedule, and meeting deadlines, with the ability to multitask., • Maintain a high level of ethical and professional standards per facility and community policy, and be a positive role model to the children entrusted in our care., • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints., • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work demands., • Maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail for extended periods., • Ability to talk or hear to give and receive information and instruction., • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls., • Ability to reach with hands and arms and perform light housekeeping duties as needed., • Ability to use a computer keyboard as needed., • Must be physically and mentally fit to perform all duties., • A criminal record clearance and a clearance for youth/NMDs abuse index are required., • A valid driver’s license is required., • Ability to interact and communicate verbally and in writing with youth/NMDs, other staff members, and the general public., • Regularly work indoors and outdoors in a variety of environments, • Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens, • Potential for high noise level when all six youth/NMD are at TRLC
