Sr. Supervisor Operations provides directions across functional departments with directions from management, leading team members to ensure order execution and customer requirements are achieved while meeting our internal and external goals. Must have strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to assist with overseeing multi-level associates within the warehouse. Proven experience required, as this is a working Sr. supervisor role. Solid understanding of taking a proactive approach to fostering conflict resolutions, leading to a safe and healthy work environment is necessary. Ability to adapt and thrive within all work schedules/hours, based on business needs. Must be fluid in Traffic Routing Guides to help optimize order execution and planning with production. What You'll Do People • Establish and sustain process discipline throughout operations. Ensuring that all associates are trained, proficient, and understand how their work relates to the organizational goals and customers' business objectives, • Sustain performance standards; communicate specific and measurable metrics daily, weekly and monthly to achieve order execution and goals., • Coordinate schedules with vendors and ensure all vendors are compliant with Hybrid goals and protocols., • Maintain an orderly and neat warehouse, Establish 5S zones, • Ensure the Leads and Team Members have proper access to the necessary tools and process updates to perform their assigned duties, • Develop teams by building bench strength through, coaching and mentoring key roles by departmental functional areas (SME, Leads), • Ensure safety policies are always practiced and enforced, OCR, observe, coach and reinforce when necessary, • Creates and supports a safe work environment Operations • Collaborate with Operations Managers and Management teams to ensure daily stand-up meetings within operational areas are being conducted daily to ensure safety, communicate objectives and problem solve opportunities., • Evaluate and recommend changes in preferred work methods (process, layout, etc.,) to increase productivity and flow of warehouse operations., • Assist in new associate training and temporary associate training/cross-training., • Provide relief coverage for operational duties when associates utilize time-off or are absent from the shift of other supervisors., • Have a thorough working knowledge of the site's operating systems to ensure operational compliance and correct exception resolution., • Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion, • Establish metrics and training templates for functional areas and update as required, • On-Board to and maintain expert-level knowledge of the site’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage inventory accuracy, resolve exceptions, and generate reports; train others as required., • Weekend work or late hours in a day as required, depending on business needs., • Ensure day-to-day supervision and associate activities are aligned with the location safety strategy, • OCR, observe, coach and reinforce appropriate and inappropriate behaviors or performances., • Understand specific customer goals & objectives (Customer/Order profiles) and Routing guide specifics so that production and employees can work to meet and exceed these expectations daily, • Determine areas of improvement and optimize traffic and production, • Support all chargeback resolution activities and efforts to eliminate further chargebacks through process correction, retraining or coaching, • Properly planned work assignments to ensure effective use of all PIT warehouse equipment, • Work with hourly associates to ensure they understand safe and efficient operation of equipment, • Identify need for equipment inspection or repairs and notify management, • 2-4 + years related functional experience, in a Warehouse Distribution Center and Logistics experience., • Prior Experience in shipping Ecommerce customers preferred., • Ability to multitask, and change priorities as needed., • Experience in shipping Headwear, Large national chains as well as boutique and specialty accounts., • Knowledge of Vendor specific ticketing and labeling requirements and prior experience a plus., • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience, required, • Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen, required in English., • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required, • Must demonstrate ownership & responsibility to help run the operation with a sense of urgency, • Must have the ability to connect and build rapport/relationships with associates and external departments at all levels, • Demonstrated proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); able to train others and use data to drive decisions., • Must have ability to work efficiently with time management and organizational skills, focusing on priorities, • Ability to manage through a problem and think and make decisions independently up to an approved level., • Ability to drive process improvement and lead change, • Experience with inventory management and WMS system, preferred, • Regular, predictable, consistent attendance records are an essential function of the job, • Read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze/understand certain information, instructions and guidelines, • Bilingual (Spanish/English), preferred, • Ability to write legibly, • Must have basic math, computer, and data entry skills, • Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner, • Demonstrated ability to lead others to complete work requirements, • Must have attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
