About the Position: Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Safety, the Facilities Manager will oversee all areas of facilities operations across the organization. Areas of oversight include maintenance, cleaning, fleet management, and capital project management. The position also includes responsibility for budget management and procurement, and management of facilities-related vendor agreements. Benefits: • Medical, dental, vision and flexible spending account (FSA), • 100% company-paid benefits such as life insurance, • Eligible for up to 120hours of PTO per year., • 11 Company-paid holidays, • Supervise maintenance and cleaning staff., • Plan,directand oversee the maintenance and alteration of equipment, buildings, and facilities of theBGCPby performing duties personally or throughmaintenancestaff., • Keep facilitiesproperlyoperatingthrough routinemaintenanceor repairs, including heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems., • Ensurebuilding, grounds, and property areconsistentlycleanandmaintainedtoorganizational standardsby operations staff., • Implement athorough cleaning schedule and plan to ensure daily upkeep of clubhouses, including, but notlimitedto, parking lots, classrooms, cafeteria, front lobbyand entryways,gyms, playgrounds,storage areas, utility closets, andshared spaces., • Request supplies andequipmentneededforoperationswith the approval ofthe Senior Director of Safety & Facilities., • Conduct and direct annual major maintenance projects and report any damages or necessary major repairs to the buildingandequipment tothe Senior Director of Safety & Facilities., • Supportthe Senior Director of Safety & Facilitieswith management of lease and short-term rental agreements to address any associated maintenance, cleaning needs, or capital improvement needs., • Assiststaff members inproperlymaintainingtheir departments., • Assistin preparation forspecial eventsandfundraisers, when needed., • Coordinate organizational storage units., • Supportthe Senior Director of Safety & Facilitieswith planning and managing annual operational/building related budget. Assistthe Senior Director of Safety & Facilitieswith developing long-range forecasts for deferred maintenance needs with projected budget planning., • Communicate any upcoming projects, schedule changes, or maintenance work with applicable Club and administrative staff in a timely manner., • Support the Senior Director of Safety & Facilitieswitha fleetmanagement plan to ensureroutinemaintenanceandcleanlinessof all organizational vehicles and equipment., • Support the organization safety inspection plan including reviewing andparticipatingin regular inspections for each facility., • Supportthe Senior Director of Safety & Facilitieswith filing of required documentation and records; management and reporting on grant requirements, reimbursement of various subsidies associated with facilities., • Support the Senior Director of Safety & Facilities in ensuring facilities are operating in compliance and have current certifications necessary for operation by helping to facilitate all external inspections and audits., • Ensure compliance with BGCA standards of operations and compliance with all organizational policies and procedures; proactivelymaintainawareness of policies; implement andmonitorall updates as needed., • Ensure compliance with all rules and regulationsrelativeto state and federal requirements for safety, sanitation, and security., • A Bachelors or Associates degree, or equivalent professional experience preferred., • 3+ years of experience in facilities management., • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written., • Excellent interpersonal skills anda collaborativemanagement style., • Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards anda diverse workplace., • Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects., • Experience with deferred maintenance planning., • Experience working with contractors (i.e.heating/cooling, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, carpentry, masonry, etc.)., • Excel at operatingina fast paced, community environment., • Delegate responsibilities effectively., • Able to work independently and efficiently to achieve department deadlines and goals., • Some duties may require the operation of heavy equipment and the responsibility of routine care and maintenance of moderately expensive tools and/or equipment., • A strong commitment to improving equity and accessibility in youth development, • A commitment to anti-racist approaches to our work, • Diverse life experiences, • An openness to learning, and giving/receiving feedback with colleagues, • There could be exposure to one or more disagreeable conditions, such as outdoor weather, rigorous cleaning or repair assignments, and janitorial/grounds keeping/maintenance related chemicals and materials., • Position could be physically demanding at times and require the employee to walk unaided in a variety of buildings and property grounds, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach above their head, have use of fine and gross motor skills, and work outdoors in all weather conditions., • Must have normal visual acuity at near and far distance with correction and hear the spoken word with correction., • Could berequiredto use hands to handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls., • May lift and/or move heavy objects or boxes weighing up to 50 pounds individually and lift larger amounts with aid.
