Job Description Receptionist / Culture & Office Assistant SilencerCo West Valley City Utah Full Time Shift: Day Shift - 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Monday–Thursday), 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (Fridays) Last Revised Date: 08/18/2025 Last Revised By: Tyson Rushton Position Overview As the SilencerCo Receptionist and Culture & Office Assistant, you represent SilencerCo as the face of the company. You will interact with customers, employees, vendors, and visitors to ensure an excellent, memorable experience. In addition to reception duties, you will support our Compliance Team in maintaining building security, assist our Customer Service Department with overflow calls, and play a key role in the Corporate Services Department by helping plan and execute company culture initiatives and events. Job Responsibilities Reception & Lobby: • Unlock/lock lobby doors., • Welcome and greet all visitors, customers, and vendors, ensuring a friendly, inviting, and professional first impression., • Assist visitors with check-in, including facilities access agreements, visitor badges, and staff tours., • Track all visitors, including vendors, employees, and guests, ensuring compliance with ITAR regulations., • Offer assistance in obtaining a silencer or SilencerCo product through distributors/retail outlets., • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the lobby and reception area, decorating for holidays and seasons in coordination with the Culture Department., • Mini Market - work with mini market to provide best experience for employees., • Perform monthly purchasing from vendors such as Costco, Amazon, and Sam's Club for supplies., • Maintain the Employee Store by purchasing, stocking, and organizing merchandise monthly., • Coordinate with Marketing on merchandise designs and promotional materials., • Schedule, coordinate, and direct employee events such as monthly BBQs, food trucks, holiday parties, and catering., • Create signage, posters, and announcements for culture initiatives and events., • Send company-wide emails related to employee events and culture activities., • Receive, sort, and distribute company mail promptly to departments and individuals., • Track and log company card purchases and invoices., • Assist in various administrative tasks as needed by the Corporate Services Department. Results • Visitor & Call Management:, • 80%+ of visitors greeted within 1 minute of arrival and calls answered within 3 rings., • Compliance & Security:, • 100% adherence to ITAR regulations and visitor check-in / badge procedures with accurate logs., • Administrative Accuracy:, • 98% accuracy in mail distribution, scheduling, logging purchases, and maintaining records., • Culture & Event Support:, • Successful execution of 100% of planned employee events with positive employee feedback (measured via quick post-event surveys or manager feedback)., • Facilities & Store Management:, • High school diploma., • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience., • Familiarity with ATF and Compliance regulations., • Excellent organization and communication skills, both oral and written., • Working knowledge of Google Suite, Excel, Microsoft Word, etc., • Self-starter with the drive to take initiative and ownership of responsibilities., • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive relationships., • Ability to type at least 40 WPM., • Familiarity with SilencerCo products.
