Job DescriptionDescription: We’re seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. This part-time position works Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and rotating Saturday mornings. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring a smooth patient experience — from scheduling and registration to payments and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Patient Flow & Scheduling • Greet patients warmly and ensure efficient check-in and registration., • Schedule appointments, answer phones, screen calls, and prioritize urgent medical needs., • Verify and update patient personal and financial information., • Charge the correct fees, explain payment policies, and collect payments at the time of service., • Provide information and assistance regarding insurance billing and charges., • Maintain patient account accuracy by scanning and updating records in the EMR system., • Keep providers informed of patient arrivals and schedule changes to minimize wait times., • Complete daily opening and closing checklists., • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front desk and waiting area., • High School Diploma or equivalent., • Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing)., • Strong data entry accuracy and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)., • Experience in a healthcare or clinic setting., • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (USIS, ECW, Help2)., • Knowledge of medical billing and collections.
