Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join an interior carpentry subcontractor specializing in commercial interiors, including retail, office, and mixed‑use commercial projects. This role will manage projects from award through closeout, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced nature of interior buildouts and has hands-on experience managing finish carpentry, framing, millwork, doors/frames/hardware, and similar interior scopes. Key Responsibilities • Manage multiple interior carpentry projects from contract award through closeout, • Coordinate labor, material procurement, and subcontracted scopes, • Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with GC and owner timelines, • Review contracts, drawings, and specifications for scope clarity and risk, • Manage budgets, job cost reporting, and change order pricing, • Coordinate with General Contractors, superintendents, field crews, and vendors, • Oversee submittals, RFIs, and project documentation, • Attend job meetings, site walks, and coordination meetings as required, • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements, • Support field teams to resolve constructability and sequencing challenges, • Lead closeout activities including punchlists, billing, and turnover documentationRequired Experience & Qualifications, • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, • Experience working for an interior carpentry subcontractor or finishes trade, • Background in retail, office, or commercial interior construction, • Strong knowledge of interior scopes such as framing, drywall, millwork, doors/frames/hardware, and finish carpentry, • Ability to manage multiple fast-track interior projects simultaneously, • Strong understanding of construction documents and subcontractor coordination, • Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Excel, etc.) Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
