The Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Claim Supervisor oversees the operation of 5-7 Claim Representatives devoted to the handling of PIP Claims in multiple States. This position is responsible for planning the activities and monitoring the results of the team’s efforts to achieve assigned goals and objectives for production and quality. You will interact with your staff through regular Team Meetings as well as one-on-one developmental sessions. You will partner with management in review of the department’s pending and provide training, file handling, and advice to claims associates on an everyday basis. This position requires superior time management and organizational skills. The individual in this role should have superior interpersonal skills. This position is the key field position for on-site direction of work and the actual work that gets done in our clients' buildings. The Installation Superintendent needs to coordinate closely with project management, building contractors and others to manage all on-site installation activity. This position is a combination of Senior Install Tech and On-site Project Manager focused on the installation activity on the job site. This position does not directly manage personnel, (direct reports) but does manage the installation projects and ensures the installation occurs on time with no interruptions. This position is key in working with project managers and installation staff to resolve roadblocks for successful completion. This position is also responsible for ensuring the highest quality of installation work. Although this position can do some actual install work it is mostly focused on the site management functions listed. Covers the territory of NY and NJ What You'll Do: • Leads and delegates tasks to multiple install crews, subcontractors and union trades. When not on deliveries: • Receive, unload and place incoming inventory product accurately., • Accurately pick, process and ready customer orders., • Organizing stock and maintaining inventory., • Inspecting products for defects and damages., • Load and unload trucks, putting away product accurately., • Organize warehouse space as requested., • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations, keeping warehouse clean and organized daily., • Any other projects the supervisor / manager assigns. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES The company conducts physical inventory counts twice a year on a Saturday, and participation is mandatory for this position. These physical inventory counts are conducted at the end of June and end of December. Employees unable to attend the physical inventory must obtain written approval from their direct supervisor in advance.
