Were seeking a Residential Coordinator to oversee and support host home placements, family caregivers, and adults in supported apartment programs. This role requires excellent judgment, compassion, and follow-through. Youll coordinate services, monitor care quality, respond to client needs, and maintain compliance with a wide range of documentation and regulatory requirements. As a Residential Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive exceptional, person-centered supports while helping families, host home providers, and direct care teams succeed. This isn't a traditional desk job. What the Role Entails As a Residential Coordinator, you will: • Manage a caseload of adults receiving residential services., • Build strong relationships with individuals, host home providers, family caregivers, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams., • Conduct home visits, safety inspections, welfare checks, and quality assurance reviews., • Ensure compliance with Medicaid, HCPF, CDPHE, and agency regulations., • Monitor medical needs, appointments, medication protocols, and follow-up recommendations., • Develop and implement person-centered support plans and behavioral interventions., • Complete documentation, audits, reports, and regulatory requirements accurately and on time., • Provide coaching, and oversight to caregivers and providers., • Participate in team meetings, HRC reviews, court hearings, and interdisciplinary planning., • Respond calmly and professionally during crises while exercising sound clinical judgment., • Provide direct support to individuals when operational needs require., • Advocate for services, resources, and quality outcomes for every person supported. On-Call & Emergency Response This position participates in an after-hours on-call at times. Residential Coordinators are expected to: • Respond to emergency calls from staff, families, providers, hospitals, law enforcement, and crisis teams., • Make time-sensitive decisions regarding health, safety, placement, and services., • Coordinate emergency supports when needed., • Occasionally respond in person when situations require. This responsibility is a critical part of the position and requires flexibility outside of standard business hours. Additional Expectations This position also requires: • Occasional evening and weekend work., • Unannounced home visits., • Driving throughout your assigned caseload., • Covering direct support shifts when operationally necessary., • Physical intervention using NVCI techniques when trained and necessary to maintain safety., • Mandatory reporting responsibilities for abuse, neglect, mistreatment, and exploitation., • Maintaining confidentiality while making independent decisions. Residential Coordinator I $55,000 Ideal for: Entry-level coordinator with transferable human services experience. Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred., • 12 years of professional experience., • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation., • Ability to obtain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, NVCI)., • Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills. Residential Coordinator II $60,000 Ideal for: Experienced residential or case management professional. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred., • 24 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or similar populations., • Experience coordinating services with interdisciplinary teams., • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a full caseload., • Experience with trauma-informed care preferred. Residential Coordinator III $64,000 Ideal for: Senior coordinator and team mentor. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree preferred., • 4+ years of residential, case management, or IDD services experience., • Demonstrated success managing high-acuity or complex cases., • Experience mentoring or training staff., • Advanced knowledge of IDD regulations, compliance, and residential program operations., • Ability to serve as a resource for Coordinator I & II staff and support the Residential Manager.
