Job Description Access Services is looking to grow our In Home and Community Supports team by hiring a Supervisor. This position will have a caseload throughout Delaware County, PA, and will use our Fort Washington, PA office as their home base. Some of the current cases are in Newtown Square, Secane, Havertown, and Wallingford. As a supervisor, you will represent the agency at the county level and you will oversee the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who work with the individuals we support. You will support the DSPs work by supporting them to achieve the Individual's outcomes, ensuring that services are mission driven and of the highest quality. Key Responsibilities: • Orient new staff to the program and the cases they will be working on., • Provide ongoing supervision and development of assigned direct support professionals with a coaching mindset to help their growth., • Provide 5-10 hours of direct care support to individuals in the program., • Keep abreast of developments in the field relating to the provision of services and intervention techniques., • Coordinate and organize home and community supports for individuals with intellectual disabilities., • Assist with the development, implementation, updating and review of individual support plans that are strengths based and person centered in collaboration with the team and the individuals being served., • Attend all necessary meetings relating to both the support and coordination aspects of the individuals being served. About the Role: This professional position is responsible for assisting the Regional Director with oversight and management of CareLink’s Residential Program’s daily operations as well as the implementation of the agency’s mission, values and goals. This position is a part of the Management Team and works closely with CareLink’s Administration to implement agency policies, procedures and standards of care. The Technical Support Specialist should be able to quickly learn and obtain knowledge of company software as it pertains to supporting the day-to-day usage and requirements of the companys operations and the end-users of each package/system. Equipment Used: Must be familiar with operating the following equipment: Computer (laptop, desktop); Telephone (multiline land line, cell phone); Printer; Scanner; Laminator; Projector; Smartboard, and networking equipment. Scheduling and Working Conditions: This position will typically work 20 hours per week, on-site schedule, with the possibility of Fridays off and flexible hours. Evening/weekend hours as needed. The position is compensated on an hourly basis. The technical support specialist will need to clock in and out for their hours daily. The technical support specialist should have means of transport to travel between the two sites of Novick which are a few miles apart; depending on the severity of IT tickets and on direction of the reporting manager; travel will be needed between the two sites. If there are IT support needs on certain days beyond the 20 hours per week; the additional hours will be determined by the reporting manager in consultation with the technical support specialists availability and will be open for hourly compensation beyond the 20 hours per week. Job Summary This position is responsible for the oversight of Residential Counselors in the absence of the Program Supervisor. Provides oversight to the shift and ensures administrative supervision of the residential staff and operations of the program. Salary: $19.25 an hour What you’ll do: • Provide leadership and administrative supervision to all staff by providing instruction, leadership, example, and suggestions as appropriate., • Ensure coverage for each shift through various means: asking on-duty employees to remain, calling staff roster, etc., • Provide adequate information exchange at end of shift with on-coming supervisor or staff., • Plan shift operations of the site including shift assignments, reporting all problems to the Program Supervisor., • Assist in providing an orientation for new employees in the agency and facility philosophy, policies and procedures., • Participate in performance reviews for employee introductory, annual and interim evaluations., • Participate in development and training of staff to improve quality of services provided to participants., • Participate in and assume leadership role during staff meetings and training programs., • Provide coverage at site when needed., • Report all concerns regarding staff to Program Supervisor., • Attend and participate in supervision., • Coordinate referral and intake process as directed by Program Supervisor. Complete only nonclinical and non-medical portions of the comprehensive intake assessment., • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of consumer’s strengths, interests, and areas needing assistance., • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of goal plans and treatment interventions., • Coordinate the orientation of new consumers, take inventory of all personal items upon admission, and conduct introductions to staff and participants., • Coordination of all consumer appointments., • Assist participants in planning, coordination, and implementation of daily, evening, and weekend social and recreational activities., • Participate in the development of individual service plans designed to improve the social and self care skills of program clients., • Attend monthly case management meetings when appropriate., • Coordinate site meetings., • Review all documentation generated during the shift to ensure that work is accurate, complete and finished in a timely manner., • Monitor medication of all participants as prescribed and document as required.
