Our client, an elevated women's resort wear brand, is looking for a Store Director to join their team in Miami, FL (Coral Gables)! Position Title: Store Director Reports to: Director of Retail Direct Reports: Store Manager, Sales Associates, Client Advisors Location: Miami, FL (Coral Gables) ROLE OVERVIEW Our client is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Store Director who is passionate about luxury retail, client relationships, and team leadership. This individual will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the boutique, including sales, client development, operations, visual merchandising, talent management, and profitability. Operating with an entrepreneurial mindset, this leader is accountable for commercial growth, client acquisition, and market development, while balancing operational excellence with proactive business development through networking, strategic partnerships, community engagement, and client relationship management, serving as the business leader of the boutique and the face of the brand within the local market. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Leadership and Client Development (35%) • Drive and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals., • Develop and execute annual business development strategies to expand market share, increase boutique visibility, and drive sustainable revenue growth., • Develop and execute strategies to grow boutique performance and profitability., • Build, maintain, and expand a loyal customer base through exceptional clienteling., • Own boutique client acquisition, retention, reactivation, and lifetime value through disciplined CRM and clienteling strategies., • Personally cultivate relationships with VIC and high-potential clients., • Leverage an established network of luxury clients while continuously identifying and acquiring new high-potential customers., • Lead the team in CRM utilization, appointment selling, and proactive outreach., • Organize and execute in-store events, private shopping experiences, styling appointments, and community outreach initiatives designed to acquire new clients and strengthen existing relationships., • Build strategic relationships with luxury hotels, resorts, country clubs, yacht clubs, private aviation services, luxury residential communities, travel advisors, concierge teams, personal stylists, wellness clubs, charitable organizations, and other businesses serving affluent clientele., • Represent the brand at networking events, luxury community gatherings, charity galas, and brand activations to generate qualified business opportunities. Leadership and Talent Development (20%) • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain top luxury retail talent., • Establish measurable clienteling expectations, CRM outreach goals, appointment-selling targets, and client acquisition objectives for every team member., • Coach associates to build and manage their own books of business while fostering an entrepreneurial selling culture throughout the boutique. Operations and Business Management (20%) • Analyze sales performance including traffic, conversion, UPT, AOV, new client acquisition, repeat purchase rate, client retention, CRM engagement, appointment conversion, event ROI, and customer lifetime value to identify opportunities for growth., • Analyze local market trends, competitor activity, and customer demographics to proactively identify new business opportunities., • Oversee day-to-day boutique operations, visual merchandising standards, and inventory management to protect profitability and brand presentation. Community and Brand Ambassadorship (25%) • Serve as the public face of the brand within the local luxury community, building meaningful relationships that strengthen brand awareness and generate long-term business opportunities., • Build relationships with hotels, resorts, country clubs, yacht clubs, luxury residential communities, luxury real estate professionals, private aviation, travel advisors, stylists, concierge teams, influencers, charitable organizations, art galleries, and other local luxury businesses., • Partner with Corporate Marketing to develop and execute localized marketing initiatives, strategic partnerships, and community activations that increase customer acquisition and boutique visibility., • Position the boutique as the preferred destination for luxury resortwear within the local market. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field preferred., • Equivalent combination of education and relevant luxury retail leadership experience will be considered. WORK EXPERIENCE • 8+ years of experience in luxury retail management, with a proven track record of driving sales and profitability., • Demonstrated success growing boutique performance through business development, client acquisition, networking, and strategic community engagement., • Established client book and existing relationships with luxury consumers within the local market, with a demonstrated ability to leverage those relationships while continuously expanding a portfolio of high-value clients., • Proven success developing local partnerships that generate measurable business results., • Experience leading, coaching, and developing luxury retail sales teams. KEY SKILLS SET • Deep understanding of luxury retail clienteling, CRM practices, and appointment-based selling., • Strong local market intelligence and ability to identify white space and business development opportunities., • Naturally builds influential relationships throughout the local luxury community., • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect business development activity to sales and profitability., • Data-informed decision-making with a disciplined focus on KPIs and ROI., • Strong executive presence and ability to represent the brand at the highest level of luxury hospitality and service., • Fluent English required; additional languages relevant to the local client base a plus. EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATIONS • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook., • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, CRM tools, and clienteling platforms., • Experience with inventory management, visual merchandising, and reporting systems preferred., • Comfort working with shared drives, digital assets, and cross-functional systems., • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into action plans.
