Job DescriptionDescription: Advanced Dermatology, P.C is seeking a Part Time Medical Receptionist to join our team in our Albertson location. Two years of Medical Office and/or Dermatology front desk experience is preferred. Position Summary Medical Receptionists perform a variety of duties to support the medical staff and their patients. They are the main liaisons of a medical facility, interacting with patients and medical staff. They act as mediators in communication. Their duties include greeting visitors, maintaining appointments, and providing directions to people in person and on the phone. The Medical Receptionist may also perform clerical work and distribute information to medical staff. Key Roles & Responsibilities • Welcomes patients on the telephone and answering inquiries or referring questions to other staff members., • Schedules appointments for the physicians and physician assistant to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time and most effective use of examining and treatment rooms., • Confirms all appointments prior to date of service., • Verify insurance and inform the patient of needed referrals before the date of service., • Assists patients with copayments, and billing questions., • Retrieve patient's files in EMR, verify the information on file, and inserts new patient record forms, and information., • Protect patient's rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information., • Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition., • Participates in the medical office emergency routine when required. Job Description Senior Accountant Responsibilities include assisting the Corporate Controller and CFO with overseeing the GAAP accounting of the portfolio companies. Must possess strong knowledge of Inventory, Accruals, Job Costing, Percentage of Completion job schedule (“POC”), and Sales Tax. Relevant experience working in the construction industry is required. Reports to the Assistant Controller. Duties Include: Responsible for reviewing and/or preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations. Prepare/review monthly prepaid and accrual schedules and ensure proper monthly posting of accounting entries. Maintain supporting workpapers and reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts. Provide support to the auditors and tax advisors as needed. Support and oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
