The Opportunity • Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners., • Current national certification and DEA are required., • Current NY state license is a plus. The Practice Westchester Medical Center – Valhalla, New York • Level I Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center., • 650-bed facility with 43-bed Emergency Department, • All sub-specialties available for backup., • Annual ED volume of 33,000 with approximately 100 patients per day. Job Description Urgent Care Physician THE LOCATIONS: Mt. Kisco, Thornwood, Yorktown and Carmel, New York We have an excellent, full time opportunity available for BC/BE physician to join our stable and well established Urgent Care clinics in Mt. Kisco, Thornwood, Yorktown and Carmel, New York. You must be willing to travel to all 4 locations, as needed. The staffs are very friendly and team oriented to work with and a great mentoring environment is available. The focus is on providing the highest level of quality patient care. A healthy work-life balance is encouraged. A healthcare network in New York is looking to add a new, licensed Pediatric Urgent Care Physician / PEM to their growing team in Rockland County. In this role, thePediatric Urgent Care Physician / PEMwill be responsible forevaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric urgent care patients in both in-person and telemedicine settings. About the Opportunity: Setting: Private Practice Hours: 12pm to 12am or 10am to 10pm (3 to 4 weekends shifts a month) Responsibilities: ThePediatric Urgent Care Physician / PEM will: Assess and treat acute injury and illness for both in-person and telemedicine patients,includinganaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma Perform procedural care, including abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive Takeradiographs and providing preliminary interpretation of x-rays with official radiology over-reads (only in applicable states) Oversee in-person and telemedicine patient flow and daily functions of the office along with oversight of other providers, staff, and trainees on shift Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York Board Eligible / Certified in Pediatrics Emergency Department and/or Urgent Care background Your privacy is important to us.
