Job Description Apply Here: Kings View is a nonprofit leader in providing behavioral health services to the underserved community, is currently seeking a driven Private Practice Licensed Clinician. This position will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services, including conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy sessions (individual, couples, family, children, or group), providing consultations and linkages as needed, and managing treatment termination and follow-up. The clinician will also maintain accurate and compliant mental health records for clients in their care. Private Practice Licensed Clinician (570) Fresno, CA Serve as an effective liaison between KV and community partners. Display an entry level ability in diagnostic evaluation and assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy and various modalities of therapy. How will I contribute • • Perform thorough mental health assessments to identify presenting problems, strengths, and areas for growth. • Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to gather relevant information., • Collaborate with clients to establish realistic treatment goals and objectives., • Design, implement, and periodically review individualized treatment plans to ensure effectiveness., • Provide evidence-based individual, couples, family, children, or group therapy., • Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment conducive to positive change., • Offer psychoeducation to clients and families as appropriate., • Participate in Standby and On-Call crisis coverage as assigned., • May provide Telehealth services in office or client homes., • Coordinate with external agencies to facilitate additional support services when necessary., • Establish collaborative relationships with community organizations to enhance client care options., • Consult with other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive approaches to client care., • Participate in case reviews and team meetings to discuss complex cases., • Complete all documentation within 72 hours of service in Credible EHR., • Maintain accurate, adequate, and HIPAA-compliant mental health records., • Follow all Kings View policies, administrative directives, and relevant county, state, and federal regulations., • Adhere to the code of conduct, compliance program requirements, and performance obligations., • Complete biannual license renewal training., • Maintain active and current license with California Board of Behavioral Sciences., • Maintain professional liability insurance if required., • Comply with mandated reporter requirements., • Maintain HIPAA-compliant workspace at all times., • May encounter risk of working with persons with SMI (serious mental illness) that may include, but not limited to persons in mental health crisis, persons that may be intoxicated or impaired by drugs or alcohol, persons who may be DTO (danger to others), DTS (Danger to Self), or GD (Gravely Disabled). If such situations arise, staff will be required to call local emergency personnel to help deescalate the crisis, use crisis intervention techniques, and consult with supervisor as soon as practically possible. What I bring • Master Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Sciences, or related., • Professional Certification: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, • Class C Driving License, • Unrestricted, current, and valid license in the State of CA as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), • Knowledge of working with adult, and/or child and adolescent populations. Knowledge of the delivery of psychotherapy services to individuals with various mental health concerns., • Ability to build rapport and establish a therapeutic connection with clients. Ability to show empathy, compassion, and understanding towards clients' experiences and challenges without judgement. Exhibit strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage therapy sessions and documentation., • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Patience, perseverance, team player, flexibility. Works well with others in difficult situations., • Bilingual in English and Spanish. Ability to supervise Associates, if needed. Experience in independent private counseling.
