Lead Engineer – Engineering We are seeking a Lead Engineer to join our engineering team. This role reports directly to the President & CEO and will play a critical part in supporting design, manufacturing, repair, and field service activities for pumps and steam turbines. What You’ll Do • Assist in the design of new pumps, pumping systems, and components using ANSYS, Finite Element Analysis, and CAD/CAM software., • Create accurate 3D models of components using Autodesk Inventor and 3D scanning technologies., • Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production and repair processes., • Collaborate with the sales team and customers, reviewing specifications, specifying components, and creating requisitions., • Participate in pump/turbine “Tear Down & Inspect” (TDI) processes, recommend repair methods, and assist in cost estimation., • Lead and support field service crews in installation, repair, and commissioning of pump/turbine systems., • Provide hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning support., • 5+ years of experience in the design and application of centrifugal pumps, turbines, or related rotating equipment., • Strong knowledge of marine, offshore, or industrial market requirements., • Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electric motor/control systems., • Expertise in pump/turbine design, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair., • Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, ANSYS, and Microsoft Office tools., • Experience with GD&T, technical drawings, and manufacturing processes., • B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or related discipline) or equivalent experience., • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
