Job Description Contemporary Art Teachers - Part-time One River School of Art & Design - Transforming Art Education $25-$35 Per Hour Job Description We are currently recruiting for experienced studio and digital art teachers for kids PreK-5th Grade for weekday afternoons and weekends to start in September 2025. There will also be a chance to supplement your hours by teaching at our Birthday parties and other events. During the week our classes typically start at 3:30pm so it is a great opportunity for public and private school art teachers and current art students in graduate programs to earn extra money doing what they love. Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Most of our teachers work onsite at our school locations but we also have travel teacher opportunities for people who are willing to deliver our curriculum in after school programs in local schools and other art enrichment programs in the community. Minimum Qualifications / Requirements: * 1+ years of experience teaching art or digital design classes * BFA or BS Art Education * Thoughtful communication skills * A passion for One River School's mission You will teach one or more of a variety of proprietary classes that include the following subjects: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Mixed media, Cartooning, Manga, Digital Art, Animation, Design, Street Art…….and more. Job Description Contemporary Studio Art Teachers - Part-time One River School of Art & Design - Transforming Art Education $25-$40 Per Hour Job Description We are currently recruiting for Art Teachers for our adult students for Thursdays and Saturdays in our Hartsdale school location. We need a Studio Art teacher with experience teaching advanced and beginner adult art students. This position will start in September 2025. Our Adult Students choose between a guided project class in which One River provides all the curriculum, or an open studio format where the teacher assists the students in creating art work that is student driven. In both cases a wide variety of mediums and techniques are used. Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Our Fine Arts instructors need a strong background in visual arts - BFA or MFA preferred and at least 10 years fine art teaching experience. MUST HAVE SUNDAY AVAILABILITY On weekends we need a teacher for K-12 digital art This position will start now there will be a chance to increase hours and class assignments in the Summer.
