Responsibilities At Related, we are building a more modern, integrated, and decision-ready People function – one where workforce data is legible, trusted, and actively used to guide leadership decisions. We are looking for an Associate, Workforce Intelligence to join our dynamic HR Systems, Operations & Analytics team. This individual will support the development of foundational workforce analytics capabilities across the firm. The Associate will help establish core metrics, definitions, governance standards, and repeatable reporting frameworks that create consistency, trust, and scale. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong technical analytics skills with business curiosity and commercial awareness – someone who wants to understand not just what the data says, but why it matters in the context of business performance. This position will report into the Director, HR Systems, Operations & Analytics and will be based in our New York office. Responsibilities include but are not limited: • Help define and maintain standardized workforce metrics (e.g., headcount, movement, attrition, internal mobility, cost per hire, etc.), • Contribute to the development of data definitions, governance standards, and documentation to ensure clarity and alignment across HR platforms, • Design clean, repeatable datasets and scalable workflows that reduce manual effort and increase reliability, • Establish strong data foundations to support workforce planning cycles, enabling future capabilities for plan vs. actual analysis, variance explanations, forward-looking risk signals and "what-if” analyses that surface business tradeoffs and downstream operational implications, • Partner closely with HR Systems, Operations, and Analytics peers and HR team members to ensure data integrity, alignment across systems, and clear definitions, • Support the Director, HR Systems, Operations & Analytics in framing questions, testing hypotheses, and translating analysis into clear decision options for key stakeholders, • Extract, shape, and analyze data using SQL, BI tooling, advanced Excel, and/or modern analytics approaches, • Present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders, adapting depth based on audience The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. Anticipated base salary range: $100,000 - $125,000 Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors. Qualifications Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in workforce analytics, people analytics, BI, or a closely related analytics role, • Experience building dashboards and executive-ready reporting using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, • Knowledge in SQL or an equivalent ability to extract, model, and analyze data using modern analytics, BI, and AI-enabled tools, • Proficiency with standard suite of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, • Strong analytical judgment and comfort working with complex, imperfect data, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to translate analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences, • Experience working with UKG Pro, iCIMS, Cornerstone, CultureAmp, or equivalent HR SaaS solutions, • Exposure to workforce planning, headcount modeling, or FP&A adjacent analysis, • Statistical modeling or forecasting experience (e.g., regression, attrition modeling, scenario modeling), • Python and/or R experience is a plus, but not required, • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity about how workforce decisions impact business performance, • Comfort combining traditional querying with emerging approaches (e.g., vectorization, AI-assisted analysis) to accelerate insight generation #LI-RB1 #Onsite #TRC
