We are looking for a meticulous, self-driven Equipment Maintenance & Repair Technician to keep our inventory in peak operating condition. The Role If you love taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and putting them back together better than before, this is the job for you. As our lead technician, you won't just be checking gear in and out, you will be the backbone of our quality control. You will oversee the mechanical and electrical upkeep of our rental fleet, manage our workshop, and ensure every piece of gear that leaves our facility is flawless. Key Responsibilities Diagnose & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of film equipment (lighting fixtures, grip gear, power distribution, cables, and mechanical accessories). Electrical & Wiring: Perform precise electrical repairs, component replacements, and custom wiring/soldering projects. Inventory & Tool Management: Keep the workshop stocked. Track, order, and organize replacement parts, components, and shop tools. Preventative Maintenance: Establish and execute routine maintenance schedules to maximize gear lifespan and minimize downtime. Organization: Maintain a spotless, highly organized, and efficient workshop environment. What We Are Looking For Strong Mechanical & Electrical Aptitude: Proven experience with hands-on mechanical repairs and basic electrical/electronic wiring. The "Self-Starter" Mentality: You don't need a checklist handed to you every morning. You see a broken item or an unorganized shelf, and you just tackle it. Extreme Attention to Detail: Cleanliness and organization. Resourcefulness: Comfortable researching manuals, sourcing rare parts, and finding creative solutions to unique gear issues. This role requires strong knife skills, precision fabrication, and the ability to work efficiently in a USDA-inspected facility. Location: Bronx, NY Pay: $20 to $23 based on experience Shift: 3am to completion Key Responsibilities Meat Fabrication & Portioning • Break down whole muscle cuts (such as tenderloins, strip loins, and shoulders) into steaks, cubes, and strips, • Hand-cut and portion steaks and trim to precise customer requirements, • Monitor yields closely and reduce trim loss and waste, • Distinguish and separate Halal and conventional products in accordance with SOPs, • Operate effectively within USDA-inspected facilities, • Coordinate with supervisors regarding product specifications, yields, and production issues Food Safety & GMP Compliance • Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines, • Wear and maintain proper PPE (gloves, aprons, sleeves, etc.) at all times, • Avoid cross-contamination between equipment, products, and work surfaces, • Follow strict handwashing and sanitation procedures, • Ensure proper temperature control to maintain product quality and safety, • Assist in upholding HACCP protocols and internal food safety requirements Station Cleanliness & Maintenance • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation during the entire shift, • Complete end-of-shift cleaning and sanitization of knives, cutting boards, scales, tables, and containers, • Immediately report broken equipment or unsanitary conditions, • Comply with USDA regulations and company sanitation policies Qualifications • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a butcher (required), • At least 2 years of commercial or wholesale meat cutting experience preferred, • Knowledge of USDA inspection processes, Halal compliance, and HACCP standards preferred

Previous retail sales experience with a focus on customer support in a fast-paced environment preferred. Ability to perform field service repairs at customer locations when necessary.
