We're looking for an energetic, positive, and reliable individual to join our growing family as a Team Lead. About the Role: Team Lead The Team Lead supports the Store Manager by overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining operational standards. You will be a key leader on the floor, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe operations during your shifts. Key Responsibilities: Operations & Leadership • Lead shifts to maintain smooth operations, delegate tasks, and ensure consistent food quality and service., • Open or close the restaurant following company procedures, including securing the facility and balancing daily sales., • Monitor all areas (dining, kitchen, service) to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety/sanitation standards., • Work as a team to create a seamless guest experience., • Enforce company policies and health/safety regulations, completing all required checklists (opening, closing, cleaning, logs, etc.)., • Guest Experience & Service, • Demonstrate and model outstanding guest service and genuine hospitality at all times., • Welcome and engage guests, taking orders using our POS system (Toast experience is a plus, training provided)., • Make beverages with care and efficiency., • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction and retention. Cash Handling & Financial • Manage cash handling procedures, including counting cash drawers, preparing deposits, and securing funds in the safe., • Maintain accountability for all cash transactions and promptly report any discrepancies to management.     Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and energetic Team Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. Prior experience in food preparation, POS systems, and restaurant operations is highly desirable. This position requires a NYC Food Handlers Duties • Prepare and serve food items & coffee drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, • Operate POS systems (Toast), • Assist customers with ordering, upselling menu items, and providing exceptional customer service, • Handle food safely by following sanitation and food safety protocols, • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations through bussing and sanitation tasks, • Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations, • Support team members in food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations, • Uphold health and safety standards by adhering to sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures, • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Qualifications • Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred, • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus, • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy, • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures, • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively, • Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is advantageous
