Job Description Summary We have an immediate temp to perm opening for a Loan Document Prep Coordinator. The Loan Document Preparation Coordinator supports the law firm’s banking and real estate practice by preparing, organizing, and managing loan documentation for residential and commercial lending transactions. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, revise, and format loan documents such as notes, mortgages/deeds of trust, security agreements, guaranties, UCC filings, and closing packages., • Maintain closing checklists and track transaction progress from intake through closing., • Coordinate execution of loan packages, signature routing, notarizations, and delivery of completed documents., • Communicate with lenders, borrowers, title companies, and internal staff regarding document status and outstanding items., • Organize and maintain electronic deal files and prepare post-closing binders., • Proofread documents for accuracy, consistency, defined terms, and formatting., • Assist with scheduling, file setup, billing entry, and other administrative needs related to loan closings. Qualifications • Prior experience in closing document prep required within either a law firm, lending, mortgage banking, or real estate firm, • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and document management systems., • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven setting.
