Full Job Description A brand-new modern dental office near Bryant Park is looking for a Rock Star Front/Back Office Staff. Core Competencies: · Dental / medical office experience (either at the reception or clinical roles) is preferred Essential Functions: · Excellent phone answering / communication skills (You are the 1st impression of our team!) · A willingness to be flexible and accommodating for patients. · Consistent in cleanliness, timeliness and service · Mastery in insurance, billing, payments and scheduling · Impeccable organization for record keeping We are looking for someone who can be trained for both reception and clinical roles. Our current staff is also cross-trained to do both. We will provide training for the use of the software and billing, as well as chairside assisting. Requirements: Maintains Patient Charts/record/clinic logs and database as necessary. Appointment scheduling, registration and insurance verification. Collects specimens. Competence in auditory testing, visual testing, EKG, venipuncture and taking vitals. Keeps examination rooms neat and clean. Manages time and other resources to meet established goals within the agreed upon time frames. Observes the Health Care System’s compliance policies. Ensures that all patients, visitors, and guests, as well as co-workers receive personalized, prompt attention and are treated with receptiveness, dignity and respect.
