Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for fiber, cable, and data center components. The role focuses on supplier and vendor management, contract manufacturing oversight, raw material sourcing, and contract negotiation to ensure cost-effective, timely, and high-quality delivery of materials and finished products. The ideal candidate will build strong supplier relationships, optimize inventory and logistics, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to support scale and reliability. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute supply chain strategies for fiber, cable, and data center product lines to meet business goals for cost, quality, and delivery., • Manage supplier and vendor relationships: identify, qualify, onboard, and evaluate suppliers and contract manufacturers; drive continuous improvement and performance metrics (quality, on-time delivery, cost)., • Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and contract manufacturers, including pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, quality terms, and service-level agreements., • Oversee sourcing and procurement of raw materials and components; maintain strategic inventory levels and implement inventory optimization techniques (MRP/DRP, safety stock planning)., • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to qualify new materials and suppliers, manage change control, and ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards., • Monitor and manage supply chain risks, including supplier capacity, single-source dependencies, geopolitical impacts, and logistics disruptions; develop mitigation and contingency plans., • Manage contract manufacturing relationships and performance, including production schedules, quality audits, inspections, and corrective actions., • Implement cost-reduction initiatives across the supply chain through value analysis, total cost of ownership assessments, and supplier consolidation where appropriate., • Oversee demand forecasting collaboration with sales and operations planning (S&OP) to align procurement and production plans with customer demand., • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred., • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or vendor management, with direct experience in contract manufacturing and raw material sourcing., • Proven experience managing suppliers of fiber, cable, or related data center components, or demonstrated ability to rapidly learn technical product supply chains., • Strong contract negotiation experience, including pricing, terms, and service-level agreements with global suppliers and contract manufacturers., • Hands-on experience with inventory management, demand forecasting, S&OP processes, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain planning tools., • Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions; familiarity with KPIs such as lead time, inventory turns, and on-time delivery., • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across engineering, operations, and sales., • Experience with supplier quality management, audits, and corrective action processes; knowledge of regulatory and industry standards relevant to data center and cable products., • Health, • Dental, • Vision, • PTO, • 401k - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
