Position: AM Barista Reports to: General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Dining Room Manager(s) Position Classification: Non-Exempt Pay Type: Hourly Purpose The Barista creates coffee beverages for all guests. This position includes preparing and serving well-crafted specialty coffee beverages. Key Focus • Grinding and brewing coffee., • Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and educating clients and colleagues about these coffees., • Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages. Personnel: • Ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards., • Participate actively during pre-shift meeting., • Participate in restaurant service and team trainings., • Ensure consistent communication with staff members, management, and the kitchen during service., • Demonstrate ability to aid co-workers during service while successfully maintaining responsibilities. Guest Service • Provide courteous and efficient service., • Responds positively and promptly to guest concerns and complaints., • Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages., • Maintain a welcoming and orderly restaurant environment., • Builds relationships with repeat guests., • Completes side work according to the schedule., • Ensures consistent execution of company policies and procedures including recently created and evolving COVID guidelines.
