Job Description We are seeking a motivated insurance agent with a business-minded spirit to identify and convert sales leads for insurance policies while overseeing a robust portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will have served in a related insurance industry role in which he or she cultivated a pool of prospective clients through referrals, networking, cold calls, marketing initiatives, and other proactive sales strategies. Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile, • Devote an unprecedented level of personal attention when implementing a range of effective sales strategies proven to maintain and grow long-term customer base, • Set meetings with new and potential clients to listen to their needs, taking into account their financial statuses and stage-of-life priorities, and present insurance plan options tailored to their individual circumstances, • Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction, • Identify potential clients through networking, referrals, and marketing., • Meet with individuals, families, or businesses to evaluate their financial needs., • Recommend suitable insurance products (e.g., life, disability, long-term care)., • Guide clients through the application process., • Provide policy reviews and updates as clients’ needs change., • Attend ongoing training on products, sales strategies, and compliance., • Ensure all recommendations are compliant with regulatory and ethical standards., • Provide financial planning support to clients., • Support investment professionals to cultivate client relationships., • Prepare financial plans and check their accuracy.Qualifications:, • Some computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office is required, • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required, • Working knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products risk management profiles, and related state and federal regulations, • Candidates must have an insurance license, • Experience with accounting and or sales lead software is a plus, • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field., • At least 1 year of industry experience., • Self-motivated., • Excellent interpersonal skills.About Company MassMutual Metro New York is a top financial planning firm offering comprehensive solutions in insurance, asset management, and fee-based planning.
