Job Description Our organization is actively looking for full-time Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physicians to join our practices located in Long Island. Our facility is a recognized, non-profit teaching hospital situated in Oceanside, New York. We are proud to provide dedicated healthcare services to the entire South Shore of Long Island, extending from the Rockaways in Queens to Massapequas and beyond. Our main campus in Oceanside, along with nine additional satellite locations, ensures that we deliver quality and compassionate care. As one of the largest hospitals in the region, we have 455 beds, over 900 physicians, and a workforce of 3,500 employees. We are seeking a board-certified Family Medicine Physician to join our core faculty. Our residency program, affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine, has been in operation for nearly 50 years and maintains continuous accreditation from the ACGME. The faculty physician will dedicate approximately 20% of their time to patient care, 60% to supervising and mentoring students and residents, and the remaining 20% to administrative, academic, and educational responsibilities related to the residency program. The majority of the practice will be outpatient, with occasional inpatient duties in the well newborn nursery and, rarely, in the Pediatrics unit, supported by excellent pediatric backup. Our multispecialty group practice is located in Hewlett on the South Shore of Long Island. We provide adult primary care along with a range of specialties, including endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and adolescent medicine, and pulmonary medicine. On-site radiology services are available, and a team from our transplantation institute regularly visits to assist patients with liver, kidney, pancreas, and intestinal conditions that may necessitate transplant. Our practice offers comprehensive care through a team of highly skilled physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, and patient care associates. This integrated approach ensures that patients receive coordinated and efficient care tailored to their needs.
