Join our team and help us make “A Better Pop, for a Better World!” Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Sales East, this role will represent the JonnyPops brand in the Northeast market! The role’s primary responsibilities will be to plan, execute, and attend events through the Northeast, handing out pops and spreading kindness. This role is an amazing opportunity to interact cross-functionally, across JonnyPops Marketing and Sales Team to grow your CPG experience. Work is expected to be 80% events and 20% remote work (with variation week to week, subject to change based on brand needs). JonnyPops is known for both kindness and customer service as hallmarks of the brand, and this role must be committed to living these brand attributes every day. Passion for engaging with consumers from all backgrounds is a requirement for this role and the ideal candidate balances creative and analytical thinking to solve problems real-time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities: * Research, coordinate and attend weekly events throughout the Northeast United States, handing out pops and living the kindness mission of the JonnyPops brand! Events could include grocery store grand openings, demos, community sampling events, guerilla sampling, tradeshows, and more! * Work with the manager to build your weekly schedule and set pop sampling goals. Research and track the number of pops you are able to distribute throughout the summer and effectiveness and impact of events on key metrics. * Be the face of JonnyPops. Be an expert on the company, the product, and have a blast sharing the joy of JonnyPops! * Attend weekly calls and share goals with manager and the MN-based JonnyPops Intern Team. Skill Requirements: * Alignment to the JonnyPops mission to spread kindness – JonnyPops is a kindness-based company! * Strong interest in Event Planning and Coordination. * Highly enthusiastic individual who loves to interact with others and thinks a summer at JonnyPops sounds like an absolute blast! (It is!) * Self-Motivated, good time management, open to a challenge, and quick to brainstorm and problem solve. Open to constructive feedback and not easily discouraged by set-backs. * Flexible, adaptive, collaborative team player. Ready to jump in to help in any scenario! * Strong attention to detail – Applicant must be able to understand event location and set–up instructions. Food Safety Responsibilities: * Follow hygienic practices when handling any food items, e.g. for donations * Clearly reflect food safety and quality as part of the JP brand, when planning and executing projects, and while interacting with relevant external stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications: * Ability to work in office out of both of our locations: Elk River, MN & Plymouth, MN * Rising Senior or Juniors, Graduating in 2025 or 2026. * Must be located in one of the following areas for the summer: * Region #1: New Jersey, New York Metro Area, Southern Connecticut * Region #2: Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut, Rhode Island * Must have reliable, high-speed internet connection. * Must have reliable mode of transportation throughout the Northeast. Ability to move throughout the Northeast Region via car, train, plane, etc. Travel is required for this role. * Must have room at home office for deep freezer, cooler, and various swag as provided by JonnyPops. Must be returned after internship. * Preferred Majors: Event Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Sales-Related Majors, Community-Related Majors, or STRONG interest in Event Planning & Coordination! * Previous event execution or leadership experience required. * Driver’s License required! * Must be able to lift 50lbs. * Willingness to travel ~80% of time onsite to events. Works comfortably in a variable temperature environment. Expected Pay Range: * $18/hr Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or commissions. Please Note: This position does require applicants to be available to work and travel on nights and weekends. You will always have 2 days per week off to make up for those days, but having weekends as part of your work schedule is non-negotiable as many events happen Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
