Job Description Position Overview The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for implementing behavior analysis treatment plans, collecting data, and providing direct therapy to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. RBTs work closely with the BCBA to carry out individualized treatment programs, focusing on teaching skills, reducing problem behaviors, and promoting overall independence in clients. Key Responsibilities: • Implement Behavior Plans: Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA, ensuring that all therapy sessions are aligned with treatment goals., • Data Collection: Accurately collect data on client behaviors and responses to interventions during sessions., • Skill Teaching: Use evidence-based techniques (e.g., Discrete Trial Training, Natural Environment Teaching) to teach clients new skills, including communication, social skills, and daily living tasks., • Behavioral Interventions: Implement behavior reduction strategies for managing problem behaviors (e.g., aggression, self-injury, or disruptive behaviors)., • Supervision and Collaboration: Receive ongoing supervision and feedback from a BCBA to ensure the effective implementation of treatment plans., • Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of client progress, therapy sessions, and data, following the agency's guidelines., • Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and stay current with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) practices through supervision, workshops, or conferences., • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred., • Certification: Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)., • Experience: Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred., • Skills:, • Strong interpersonal and communication skills., • Ability to work effectively with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team., • Familiarity with data collection and behavior management techniques., • Paid Time Off, • Holiday Pay, • Company supplied electronics and software for data collection, • Caribbean Company Retreat, • Paid Training/Quarterly staff training, • Professional development assistance (CEUs), • Referral program, • Staff lunches and appreciation competitions and teambuilding events, • Consistent caseload with paid admin time, • Opportunities for Advancement, • Safety equipment provided Powered by JazzHR wnpg3mVGz2
