Job DescriptionSafety Coordinator – Immediate Hiring! We are hiring a Safety Coordinator to support health and safety in a structural steel manufacturing and fabrication facility. This role helps train employees, inspect the workplace, track certifications, and make sure all safety rules are followed. What You Will Do • Provide safety training for employees (general safety, equipment use, and work procedures), • Train, track, and manage forklift certifications, • Train, track, and manage overhead crane (OH crane) certifications, • Create, update, and present safety training programs, • Inspect the shop floor, equipment, and work practices for safety hazards, • Conduct safety audits to check OSHA and company safety compliance, • Record inspection and audit results accurately, • Help fix safety issues and follow up on corrective actions, • Support and improve safety programs and procedures, • Assist with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) compliance, • Keep records of training, certifications, inspections, and audits, • Work with supervisors and shop employees to address safety concerns, • Watch for new or potential safety risks and suggest solutions, • Promote a strong safety culture by leading by example and clear communicationWhat We’re Looking For, • Experience in safety coordination or safety training, • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments, • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, • Experience performing safety inspections and safety audits, • Ability to train groups of employees clearly and confidently, • Experience managing forklift and crane safety certifications, • Strong attention to detail for paperwork and data entry, • Good organization and time‑management skills, • Strong verbal and written communication skillsAdditional Qualifications (Preferred), • OSHA 30 certification (preferred), • Experience in structural steel or heavy fabrication shops, • Experience improving or creating safety programs, • Basic computer skills for tracking and reporting, • Ability to work well with operations, maintenance, and leadershipWhy Work Here, • Stable manufacturing company focused on safety, • Monday–Friday, day‑shift schedule, • Full benefits package, • Opportunity to improve safety culture directly, • Career growth in industrial safety and OSHA complianceWork Environment, • On‑site role in a steel manufacturing facility, • Mix of shop‑floor work and office tasks, • Work around heavy equipment, overhead cranes, and machinery Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
