Job Description Mental Health Therapist II/III,VIVA Counseling Program Lifeline Community Services is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to support our growing team. You will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment planning, individual and family therapy, and case management to youth up to age 20, their families. Services are provided in schools, at Lifeline's clinic sites, and via Zoom. Our clinicians use a wide variety of counseling modalities and work in a culturally sensitive manner. The position is supervised by the Program Manager, and clinicians receive weekly group and individual supervision. Associate level clinicians gain hours towards licensure, and work Monday - Thursday with weekends off. This is a direct service role that will help our team support youth in reaching their goals!We're looking for a candidate who is able to connect with youth and families using culturally sensitive and trauma informed practices. This role requires organizational skills, flexibility and teamwork, as the Therapist manages a complex schedule and works as part of the treatment team. Mental Health Therapist II: BBS registered Mental Health Therapist III: BBS licensed Required Qualifications • BBS registration required - AMFT, LMFT, ACSW, LCSW, APCC, LPCC., • Experience providing mental health services to youth or young adults., • Ability to connect with adolescents and young adults while maintaining effective professional boundaries, • Ability to work effectively as part of a team., • Strong organization, time management and clinical documentation skills., • Conducts Behavioral Health Assessments and completes Treatment Plans., • Provides individual, family and group counseling., • Provides case coordination with other professionals including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, psychologists, IEP coordinators, schools, social workers, etc., • Provides crisis management consultation and education, with a specific goal of removing barriers to a sustainable living environment., • Participates in individual weekly and group supervision., • Participates in quality assurance review processes and maintain county documentation standards., • Full time non-exempt position, • Monday -Thursday, 10 hour shifts (8:45AM - 7:15 PM), • Tuesday -Friday, 10 hour shifts (8:45AM - 7:15 PM) Compensation: • Mental Health Therapist II: BBS registered, $30.00 - $33.00 / hour (DOE) Additional Requirement • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a good driving record., • Willing to use own, properly insured, reliable vehicle for the job (mileage reimbursed).
