Job Description About the Role: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the overall warehouse operation and ensuring that materials, inventory processes, and workflows support the needs of the business. This role sets strategy, oversees staffing and performance, manages inventory systems, and drives improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost effectiveness. The Warehouse Manager provides direction to Warehouse Supervisors and Leads and serves as the primary decision-maker for warehouse operations. Why You'll Want to Work Here: • Core values that we live every day – not just words on a page: We Win Together, Today Not Tomorrow, Performance Not Politics, • Performance pays directly tied to results – You deliver for us, we deliver for you, • Benefits you will use – Full medical, dental, and vision packages including fully employer paid options, • Secure your financial future – 401(k) with company match, • We invest in your future – ongoing training that directly results into bigger career opportunities combined with continuous education stipends, • Develop and implement warehouse strategies, SOPs, and operational standards to improve accuracy, efficiency, and productivity., • Forecast space, labor, and inventory needs based on seasonal demand, growth, and service requirements., • Design and optimize warehouse layouts, workflows, and material flow processes., • Evaluate operational risks and create plans to minimize disruption, delays, or safety concerns., • Oversee Warehouse Supervisors, Leads, and warehouse staff, ensuring clarity in roles, expectations, and performance., • Make hiring decisions, conduct performance reviews, and address performance issues, including corrective action when needed., • Determine staffing levels, schedules, and overtime needs based on operational requirements., • Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement., • Own the accuracy of the warehouse inventory system, including cycle counts, annual physical counts, and reconciliation processes., • Analyze inventory trends and collaborate with procurement to set reorder points, manage stock levels, and prevent material shortages., • Investigate significant variances, recurring discrepancies, or supplier issues and implement long-term corrective actions., • Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of materials., • Evaluate current processes and implement improvements that reduce errors, streamline workflows, and increase throughput., • Lead adoption and optimization of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions., • Track and report key warehouse metrics, including accuracy, productivity, fulfillment timelines, and inventory health., • Partner with leadership to develop improvement initiatives and long-term operational plans., • Partner with service, install, procurement, and finance teams to ensure the warehouse supports operational needs and customer commitments., • Communicate proactively about material availability, delays, or impacts to scheduling or job readiness., • Represent the warehouse in leadership meetings and contribute to company-wide planning and execution., • Ensure full compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies., • Review incident reports, lead safety audits, and implement long-term corrective actions., • Maintain certifications, equipment documentation, and vendor compliance requirements., • 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience with direct responsibility for supervising teams., • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory systems, and workflow design., • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and make staffing decisions., • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving measurable results., • Proficiency with WMS platforms and inventory management tools., • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills., • Customer service focus and mindset, putting our employees and Partners first, with excellent ability to communicate and develop relationships., • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities to improve things both big and small., • Highly organized, ability to act quickly while still paying attention to detail.
