Job Summary This role is critical to modernizing how Unifi manages, protects, and maximizes the value of its GSE fleet. The Manager, GSE Telemetry & Asset Performance will directly influence cost, reliability, safety, and operational scalability across the network. The Manager, GSE Telemetry & Asset Performance is responsible for the end‑to‑end project management, implementation, and value realization of Unifi’s GSE telemetry program. This role owns the delivery of telemetry solutions across Unifi’s GSE fleet—including deployment, change management, analytics, and measurable business outcomes. This position serves as the single-threaded owner for translating telemetry data into operational value, including cost reduction, asset utilization improvement, safety enhancement, maintenance optimization, emissions reduction, and ROI tracking. The role partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, Strategic Sourcing, IT, Safety, and Finance to ensure telemetry investments deliver sustained, measurable results. Key Responsibilities Telemetry Program Leadership • Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of GSE telemetry solutions across Unifi stations, including hardware installation, system configuration, and go‑live execution, • Act as the primary point of accountability for telemetry program scope, schedule, budget, and performance, • Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, risk logs, and issue resolution pathways, • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders including Operations, GSE Maintenance, IT, Safety, Procurement, suppliers, and station leadership, • Define and track clear business value metrics, including:, • Asset utilization and idle time reduction, • Maintenance cost avoidance and downtime reduction, • Fuel/energy optimization and emissions impact, • Safety incidents and behavior improvement, • Lifecycle cost reduction and asset life extension, • Translate telemetry data into actionable insights and executive‑ready dashboards, • Serve as the business owner for telemetry vendors, including performance management and roadmap alignment, • Embed telemetry insights into daily operations, maintenance planning, and safety programs, • Support standard operating procedures (SOPs) that leverage telemetry for dispatching, preventive maintenance, and performance management, • Establish governance, data standards, and reporting cadence for telemetry performance, • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and expand telemetry use cases over time, • Monitor industry best practices, GSE technology trends, and regulatory considerations Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience), • 5–8+ years of experience in project management, operations technology, fleet management, or asset performance roles, • Ability to travel 50%, • Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale technology or IoT/telematics implementations, • Strong understanding of operational KPIs, ROI modeling, and value realization, • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives without direct authority, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions, • Excellent communication skills, including executive‑level presentations Preferred Qualifications • Experience with GSE, aviation ground operations, or fleet telematics, • Familiarity with CMMS, asset management, or maintenance planning systems, • PMP, Agile, or other project management certification, • Experience working in large, geographically dispersed operations, • Exposure to safety management systems (SMS) or sustainability initiatives Key Success Measures • Telemetry deployed on targeted GSE fleet segments on time and within budget, • Measurable improvements in asset utilization, maintenance performance, and safety metrics, • Documented and validated ROI delivered vs. business case, • High adoption rates at the station level with embedded operational workflows, • Clear executive reporting and governance in place
