Job DescriptionDescriptionOverview New York Public Library is hiring Tutors for the NYPL After School program, which provides free, drop-in homework help and enrichment activities for school-age children across NYPL locations in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island. The 2025-2026 program term for NYPL After School will run from September 29, 2025 to June 18, 2026. Tutors are not scheduled to work during scheduled program breaks, including holiday closures and days when NYC Schools are not in session, as well as the summer months. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Inventory Accounting and takes Away further helping design and implement processes that align with the rapid growth of the company, and by bridging the gap between the operations and accounting teams, ensuring proper recordkeeping and reconciliation for at the highest level. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO), the Director of Major Gifts and Gift Planning (Director) will be charged with leading major and planned giving efforts for the Law School. With currently one Major Gift Officer (MGO) as a direct report, the Director will be front line major gift officer, a coach and mentor to the MGO, subject matter expert in gift planning and a strategic partner to the CAO in building a robust major gift pipeline for the Law School.
