What You’ll Do as a Transportation Highway Group Manager • Deliver transportation projects that improve mobility, safety, and quality of life in local communities., • Foster a high-performing, motivated team through clear expectations, constructive feedback, mentoring, and career development., • Oversee the design and execution of highway engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements., • Serve as a technical lead, guiding the team on best practices, decisions, and troubleshooting as needed., • Implement and oversee quality control processes and conduct technical audits to ensure high standards., • Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams., • Ensure effective resource allocation, adequate staffing, and utilization to meet project and team goals., • Assist in recruiting top engineering talent who align with the team’s technical excellence and company culture., • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance., • Stay current with transportation design trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into project solutions., • Contribute to the organization's technical strategy and help forecast future technical needs.
