Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services, supervise and train junior staff, and contribute to our ongoing commitment to professional excellence and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Direct Clinical Care: • Provide 24 professional service units weekly, including individual, family, couples, parenting, and group therapy sessions., • Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices like CBT and DBT., • Diagnose mental health conditions, conduct assessments, and track client progress., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care., • Supervise graduate externs, interns, post-docs, or junior staff, providing at least one hour of supervision weekly., • Engage in training activities, such as conducting workshops or facilitating educational sessions., • Participate in ongoing training opportunities and earn continuing education credits., • Provide consultation services to schools, organizations, and corporations., • Doctoral degree in Psychology with a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice in CBT and DBT., • At least 2 years of supervisory experience., • Competency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders., • NY State license in good standing., • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills., • Competency in DBT with formal training and supervised clinical experience., • Active listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships., • Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods. Position Overview CBC is seeking an experienced and dedicated ADHD/Autism Clinical Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to clients with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), develop personalized treatment plans, and contribute to a collaborative, supportive clinical environment. Depending on your expertise and interests, you may also supervise trainees, conduct consultations, and pursue leadership opportunities. Key Responsibilities Direct Clinical Care: • Provide individual, group, family, or parent sessions tailored to client needs and goals., • Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and case conceptualization for clients with ADHD, ASD, and related conditions., • Deliver evidence-based treatments, including CBT and DBT., • Utilize progress-tracking measures to inform treatment., • Consult and communicate with collateral sources to enhance client care., • Supervise trainees, including graduate externs, interns, post-docs, or junior staff, as assigned., • Participate in ongoing training, peer consultation, and team meetings., • Attend CBC’s educational sessions to earn continuing education credits., • Doctoral degree in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with licensure in New York State (or eligibility for licensure)., • Competency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD and ASD., • Minimum of 2 years of experience with CBT; experience with DBT strongly preferred., • Proven ability to treat a wide range of psychological disorders across various age groups., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative team orientation., • Experience using evidence-based treatments for clients with ADHD and ASD., • Knowledge of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT)., • Regular interaction with clients and staff in an outpatient clinical setting., • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds. Job Description Job Summary The dedicated and collaborative Shift Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment which fosters growth and facilitates the development of mutual aid/self-help skills with the people we support. The ideal candidate will supervise staff and provide the appropriate supports tailored to the needs and desires of each person being supported to enable them to live as independently as possible. The Shift Supervisor is expected to recognize when an individual is in a crisis and be able to utilize the appropriate psychiatric and medical back up services. The salary range for this position is $19.24 - $20.20 hourly Responsibilities Program Operations • Ensure program goals are implemented by Direct Support Professional, • Implement and adhere to established treatment plans, • Provide hands on supervisor of individuals with Autism, including implementation of behavior goals and behavior plans, • Maintain client’s personal allowance accounts, • Schedule staff at the residence, • Coordinate shopping and proper meal distribution, • Maintain correspondence with Nurse and Medical Coordinator to ensure appropriate medical appointments are made and occur, • Coordinate recreational goals, • Transport residents in agency vehicles as needed, • Report issues regarding vehicles to supervisor, • Flexible to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays when necessary, • Maintain individual/family confidentiality, • Ensure health, safety & welfare of individuals, • Commitment to company values and adherence to policies, • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, • AMAP, First Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R certifications required or Aptitude to obtain upon hire, • Demonstrate patience, ability to learn, and utilize systematic procedures in order to enhance individual’s independence and quality of life, • 1 -2 years of OPWDD experience, • Experience working with Intellectual Developmental Disabled (I/DD) populations, • Maintain a clean and valid Driver’s License required, • Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb. items, • Ability to run when needed, • Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served QSAC is a New York City and Long Island based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism, together with their families, in achieving greater independence, realizing their future potential, and contributing to their communities in a meaningful way by offering person-centered services.
