American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: OR - Operating Room, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 12/08/2025, • Duration: 14 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Position is in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting, • Services provided include bariatrics, urology, neurology, ENT, oral surgery, plastics, transplant, ophthalmology, general surgery, GYN, and orthopedics, • Patient population covers a broad range of surgical specialties, • Shifts are 3x12-hour days from 11:00 to 23:00, • Weekend and call requirements are variable and will be discussed during the interview, • Floating may be required within the facility and to Outpatient settings as needed, • No holiday time-off requests will be approved during major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, • Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) are permitted, but none during the first week of assignment, • Mandatory 1-year gap from prior permanent or PRN positions at affiliated facilities for travelers, • Compliance with bi-weekly orientation schedule is required; delays in compliance will result in a later start date, • All required online modules will be completed during orientation and are factored into orientation hours, • Travel pairs are not permitted to have the same shift on the same unit, • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate\n \n Requirements\n, • Active GA or Compact RN license required at the time of application, • Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required, • Experience in neurology, transplant, general surgery, gynecology, and orthopedics required, • First-time travelers will not be considered for this assignment, • Must provide two supervisory references, manager level or above, • Must be able to submit documentation and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
