Job Description Come join our team of early childhood professionals! Kids Campus Inwood is now hiring Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teachers & Assistant Teachers. We are a Daycare that accepts children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Located on the Lawrence/Inwood border, we are three blocks from the Lawrence LIRR train station, 5 minute walk to N31/N32 and Q114 buses and by car just off the intersection of Peninsula Blvd and Rockaway Turnpike. Candidates must have either 9 early childhood credits completed while pursuing an early childhood or related degree or a CDA, Associate, Bachelor or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. You must also have at least one-year experience in a classroom or working with children. Lead positions are full-time, Monday-Friday, hours to be determined. Part-time co/asst teacher positions may be available as well. Responsibilities include developing/following lesson plans to positively engage and guide the children through curriculum and daily activities, maintaining a healthy, safe and loving classroom environment, assessing and documenting children's progress, completing parent and other required reports and very importantly communicating, building and maintaining positive relationships with parents.
