Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled, organized, and dependable Lead CNC & Digital Fabrication Specialist to provide technical leadership across CNC machining, machine setup, and digital fabrication production for fast-paced, creative projects. Reporting functionally to the Digital Fabrication Department Head or assigned Production leadership, and working closely with Project Managers, Production Managers, and Technical Designers, this position drives machine-based production across the project lifecycle. This role is responsible for CNC programming, machine setup, production support, quality control, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate is highly capable in Rhino and Fusion 360 CAM, resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can shift quickly, with the ability to take ownership of complex work, communicate clearly, and deliver accurate, high-quality results. This role is intended for a senior technical specialist with the potential to develop into broader department leadership as the Digital Fabrication Department continues to grow. Spanning approximately 40,000 square feet, the venue encompasses exhibition galleries, a 120-seat performance space, an 800-person event hall, a restaurant, bar, mezzanine café, and theater. Canyon presents two major exhibitions per year alongside a year-round program of live events, performances, screenings, and community programming. Position Overview The Facilities Manager is responsible for the day-to-day and long-term care of Canyon's building and systems. The role oversees all aspects of facilities operations - building systems, maintenance, and custodial - across a hybrid team of in-house staff and contracted vendors. The Facilities Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with curatorial, production, and operations staff to ensure that Canyon's physical environment supports the unique demands of presenting time-based media art and live performance. Serving as the primary liaison between operations, event planners, and vendors, the Events Services Manager ensures smooth logistics and consistently elevated guest experiences. What You'll Do: Leadership & Team Management • Supervise, schedule, and direct hourly, part-time, full-time, and temporary staff to ensure timely event execution and operational standards are met., • Train and mentor staff to maintain consistency, efficiency, and a high level of hospitality., • Manage staffing levels to meet fluctuating event schedules while maintaining budget and labor efficiency. Job Summary: We are looking for an organized and creative team player to be our Onsite Coordinator. An individual who will be able to speak knowledgeably about the programs we offer, and treat our students and their families professionally and with warmth.
