Where Potential Meets Purpose: Spees Design Build We are currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to join our growing Electrical Engineering (EE) team in Spokane, WA. In this role, you will be involved in electrical engineering and construction support efforts for all clients (e.g., Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense), ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. This position offers the opportunity to shape high-impact projects that improve critical infrastructure and public-sector facilities across the United States. Preferred Qualifications: • Valid Electrician License (Journeyman minimum) required., • 10+ years of experience of performing electrical shutdowns, equipment assessments, electrical metering, data collection for arc-flash studies, and field reports., • 10+ years of experience in electrical project management and construction administration, including constructability review, field coordination, RFIs, and submittal reviews., • Deep knowledge of electrical systems: Low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting, generators, UPS systems, fire alarm, telecommunications, controls., • Experienced with project management tools such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and Excel., • Strong ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules in parallel., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Proven track record of making decisions under pressure and delivering on commitments., • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and federal requirements (NEC, NFPA, UFC, VA criteria, IEEE, BICSI)., • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to contributing to a collaborative and inclusive studio culture.Job Duties and Responsibilities:, • Conduct field condition assessments, testing, and metering; must be able to open and evaluate electrical distribution equipment safely., • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, UFC, VA TIL, etc.)., • Coordinate across disciplines (architectural, mechanical, structural, civil, etc) to integrate electrical systems seamlessly., • Provide construction administration services: respond to RFIs, conduct site visits (up to 50% travel), perform punch list walkthroughs, track progress, and issue clarifications., • Perform constructability reviews and ensure electrical design aligns with field realities., • Hybrid Work Schedule, • Medical and Dental Insurance Options, • Company Life Insurance Plan, • Tax-free Health Savings Account (HSA), • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, • Performance-based bonuses Growth, Gratitude, and Opportunity At Spees Design Build, we know that people do their best work when they’re supported, challenged, and appreciated.
