What You'll Be Doing. As an Industrial Valve Assembler, you'll play a key role in building and testing high-quality products before they reach customers. • Assemble industrial valves and mechanical components using drawings, specifications, and work instructions., • Inspect incoming parts and materials to ensure quality and accuracy before assembly., • Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments., • Perform pressure testing and functional testing to verify product performance and reliability., • Diagnose and report defects, inconsistencies, or quality issues., • Disassemble, repair, and rebuild valves as needed., • Maintain accurate production and testing records., • Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams., • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area., • Help ensure products meet the highest quality and reliability standards.What We're Looking For. You may be a strong fit if you have: • Experience as a mechanical assembler, product assembler, technician, maintenance mechanic, component builder, or similar hands-on role., • Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing, assembly, or industrial environment., • Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of how components function together., • The ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, assembly diagrams, or work instructions., • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and torque wrenches., • Basic math and measurement skills., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality., • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.Bonus Qualifications., • Technical school, vocational training, or mechanical certifications., • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, construction, or production environments., • Experience with valve assembly, mechanical repair, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, or rotating equipment., • Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation., • Experience working as part of a small, collaborative team.Work Environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
