Basic Job Function Responsible for supporting the loan origination process by analyzing applicant financial, project and management capacity and preparing loan recommendations. Work closely with lenders across all IFF sectors and states on loan opportunities to determine long-term fit with IFF mission and credit requirements. Requirements Core Responsibilities: 1. Primary borrower relationship manager for assigned region’s lending activities. Responsible for sourcing, underwriting, seeking approval, and facilitating the closing and monitoring of loans, including those requiring complex structuring. • Responsible for guiding prospective borrowers through the loan application, approval and closing process, • Screens projects for alignment with IFF and department goals. Evaluates loan requests, including the agency's financial condition and projections, site analysis and building plans, operating plans, potential risks and other relevant data to support a recommendation of whether or not to make a loan. Contribute quantitative and narrative materials for fund raising applications and required reporting., • Establish closing requirements and work with IFF Closing and Escrow Services team, borrower, attorneys, and others to facilitate closing process in timely and efficient manner., • Work with the Portfolio Management team to support post-close monitoring including customer check-ins or site visits as required. Coordinate customer relationship management with Portfolio Management and support effective relationship communications. 1. Lead loan business development efforts to build and maintain a strong loan pipeline. Job Description Rebound Elevate is a job readiness program that incorporates basketball to engage participants and explore careers in sports. Reports To: Senior Program Manager, Rebound Location: Brooklyn, NY, 11207 Hours: 15-18 Hours/Week, Non-Exempt, Part Time Salary: $22 - $30 per hour Major Duties: • Coach basketball three times a week during Elevate Cohort Session., • Develop sports curriculum that reflects the principles of workforce readiness and careers in sports management., • Support Rebound program basketball sessions and special events throughout the year., • Attend and participate in staff meetings and funder events., • Create a youth and family development, strength’s-based environment, fostering a sense of belonging, safety, and community to participants., • Assist with Program Recruitment and Marketing, • Build Partnerships via community canvasing, tabling events, and facilitation of presentations., • Collaborate with Good Shepherd Service programs., • Document classes/workshop planning as required., • Utilize technology daily to execute job functions including computers, tablets and phones to perform administrative tasks, data entry, virtual workshop facilitation, word processing, email correspondence, text messaging, social media marketing and internet navigation/research., • Provide alumni outreach and support including career counseling, referrals and skill development., • Ability to respond to physical needs of participants during programming in workshop and sports activities., • Lift, move, and transport objects weighing up to 50 pounds across sites for events/programming., • Travel is required across sites, partnership locations and special events up to 50% of the time., • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs in different locations that vary in accessibility., • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required., • Experience working with older youth ages 18-26 preferred., • Experience and/or training relevant to the position required., • Must be able to engage young people and set structure and limits in a group setting., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Must have a commitment to work from a strength-based and/or youth development perspective., • Knowledge of Trauma Informed Practice a plus, • CPR, First Aid & AED Certification a plus

Job Description Summary: Safe Horizon’s Anti-Trafficking Program (ATP) is one of the largest providers on the East Coast and one of the only providers in New York State offering comprehensive services to survivors of all types of human trafficking, including labor trafficking. Our program applies a multi-tiered approach to eradicating human trafficking. We provide intensive case management, supportive counseling and legal services to holistically meet the needs of trafficked persons. While recognizing that client services alone will not turn the tide on human trafficking, our Anti-Trafficking Program also offers community education, technical assistance, training and advocacy to foster systemic change. The Training and Outreach Manager is responsible for developing and implementing training programs, in coordination with ATP staff, with the primary goal of assisting grantees of the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Victims of Crime (OVC) Enhanced Collaborative Model to Combat Human Trafficking (ECM), in particular the Brooklyn Human Trafficking Task Force (BKHTTF), to improve community prevention of, and response to, the crimes of human trafficking, both sex and labor. The Training and Outreach Manager will continue to develop our existing training modules, outreach campaign and materials, in collaboration with Kings County District Attorney Office (KCDAO)’s BKHTTF Director. The Training and Outreach Manager, in conjunction with KCDAO staff, will conduct training and outreach activities in high-risk areas of NYC with the goal to increase awareness of human trafficking, and to increase trust between communities and law enforcement agents. This position will require travel within New York City, some limited travel out of state and some weekend and off hour work. The Training and Outreach Manager is also responsible for conducting a specific number of trainings/presentations and outreach efforts in compliance with the OVC-ECM grant from the Department of Justice. Responsibilities: • Learn and integrate ongoing training and education regarding a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, using an anti-oppressive lens, into your work with clients., • Provide training to federal and state government agencies, federal and local law enforcement agents, community-based organizations, and any other identified organizations regarding prevention and response to human trafficking., • Coordinate, design and co-facilitate training curricula, outreach materials and activities/events, as well as other workshops on topics related to human trafficking, both sex and labor of all victims – men, women, minors, LGBTQ, and foreign nationals and U.S. citizens., • Enter information for monthly statistical reports related to the project into databases for grant reporting and prepare training/presentation narrative write-ups as part of grant reporting., • Continue to develop, supervise and manage all trainings/presentations and training protocols for BKHTTF and ATP., • Oversee fulfillment of all training/presentation activities and reporting requirements for the OVC grantee assistance contracts., • Provide professional development training opportunities for ATP social worker and legal staff, including collaborating with ATP team members on multidisciplinary anti-trafficking trainings, including internal Safe Horizon Need to Know trainings and external trainings for medical providers, legal providers and others, • Continue to develop and spearhead the Train the Trainers program for Voices of Hope, the ATP survivor leadership group comprised of current and former ATP clients, in collaboration with the VOH Liaison, and work closely with VOH members to train them in presenting the ATP Human Trafficking 101 curriculum to civil society partners, law enforcement and government agencies, • Actively participate in bi-weekly staff meetings with a small and dynamic team., • Attend bi-weekly supervision meetings with the Supervising Social Worker, attend monthly Voices of Hope meetings with the Administrative Coordinator/VOH Liaison, and monthly supervision meetings with the Associate Vice President overseeing the Anti-Trafficking Program, Immigration Law Project and Domestic Violence Law Project., • Perform other duties as assigned. Interacts with: • Staff from the Safe Horizon’s Anti-Trafficking Program, as well as Safe Horizon’s IT and Training Departments, • All ECM OVC grantees and external agencies and organizations related to the administration of the ECM-OVC grant, including KCDAO staff., • All external agencies and organizations working to assist survivors of human trafficking or working to combat trafficking in persons. Qualifications: • At least four years of professional experience developing and conducting diverse training, outreach and community organizing activities, preferably around trafficking, specifically trauma victims (for various audiences) with demonstrated results. Knowledge and Skills: Required: • Strong relationships with and/or knowledge of law enforcement agencies, community-based organizations, and victim services organizations serving and interacting with victims of trafficking., • Excellent verbal and written communications skills., • Knowledge and Experience of training curricula development; ability to integrate engaging training techniques for diverse audiences (e.g. federal grantees administering services programs for trafficking victims, government officials or potential clients) and update existing trainings and materials., • Dynamic public speaker and presenter with ability to engage diverse audiences., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Ability to delegate tasks to staff you do not directly supervise in tandem with their direct supervisor to ensure consistency and manage workload., • Must be familiar with a range of social justice work, including the underlying social issues impacting trafficking victims., • Excellent cross-cultural skills., • Strong workshop design and facilitation skills, including the general public, social service providers, and other partners., • Strong networking and organizational skills; ability to work independently and maintain flexibility in working across multiple program sites., • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills., • Comprehensive management, supervisory and leadership skills., • Ability to balance administrative responsibilities and responding to ongoing requests in a fast-paced environment. This role is supported by grant funding, with the expectation of renewal based on continued funding availability. This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement to be negotiated with local 2325 of the UAW. Desirable: • Experience providing supervision., • Experience using a harm reduction philosophy in supervisory or direct service positions., • Experience providing direct service with victims of trauma., • A Bachelor’s Degree in related field (extensive (4+ years) experience in workshop design and facilitation may supersede educational requirement., • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
