Working under the supervision of the Metal Shop Foreman, candidates for should possess solid metal working skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to interpret artistic and technical drawings. In addition, the Manager is responsible for maintaining the education-focused beds on the farms, as well as leading curriculum development, program planning, strategic visioning, and evaluation. Job Description Summary: Safe Horizon’s Anti-Trafficking Program (ATP) is one of the largest providers on the East Coast and one of the only providers in New York State offering comprehensive services to survivors of all types of human trafficking, including labor trafficking. Our program applies a multi-tiered approach to eradicating human trafficking. We provide intensive case management, supportive counseling and legal services to holistically meet the needs of trafficked persons. While recognizing that client services alone will not turn the tide on human trafficking, our Anti-Trafficking Program also offers community education, technical assistance, training and advocacy to foster systemic change. The Training and Outreach Manager is responsible for developing and implementing training programs, in coordination with ATP staff, with the primary goal of assisting grantees of the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Victims of Crime (OVC) Enhanced Collaborative Model to Combat Human Trafficking (ECM), in particular the Brooklyn Human Trafficking Task Force (BKHTTF), to improve community prevention of, and response to, the crimes of human trafficking, both sex and labor.
