We are not trying to be another traditional accounting firm. We are building a trusted, founder-led brand in tax. Our company has grown fast, our team is strong, and our systems are in place. Now we are making a major investment in content and brand. This role is not a side function. It is a priority hire. We are looking for a full-time, in-person Content Creator who can work directly with our founder and help turn real tax knowledge, client conversations, ideas, and day-to-day moments into high-performing content across social platforms. This is for someone who can do more than edit videos. We want someone who can help shape ideas, pull great answers out of the founder, shoot content, edit fast, publish consistently, and help us find the repeatable formats that grow the brand. What this role actually is This role sits at the intersection of: • Head of Creative, • Head of Production, • Content Creator / Editor You will be the person in the room with the founder, helping capture and create content every single week. You should be able to go from raw idea to posted piece without needing a bunch of hand-holding. This is not a “wait for instructions” role. This is a “see the opportunity, capture it, make it, post it” role. What you’ll do • Work directly with the founder 5 days a week in person, • Turn conversations, strategy calls, client questions, podcast moments, webinars, daily work, and spontaneous ideas into content, • Film short-form and long-form content using iPhone and simple production setups, • Edit vertical video content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social channels, • Develop content ideas, hooks, recurring series, and repeatable formats, • Ask smart questions on camera that bring out the founder’s best, most natural answers, • Identify top-performing posts and create iterations from what is already working, • Help build a content system that produces content daily, not occasionally, • Clip content from recordings, meetings, podcasts, webinars, and live sessions, • Collaborate with outside editors, freelancers, and/or agency partners as needed, • Manage the content pipeline from idea to filming to editing to posting, • Organize footage, maintain posting calendar, and keep content moving without bottlenecks, • Help capture event content, behind-the-scenes footage, reaction content, educational content, and personality-driven brand content, • Push for speed, volume, and consistency without sacrificing quality, • Study performance and “watch tape” so we keep improving what works What success looks like In this role, success looks like: • We are posting every day, • The founder is creating more content without it draining his time, • Content feels more natural, more direct, and more native to the platform, • We find 2–4 repeatable content formats that consistently perform, • Good ideas are no longer getting lost, • Calls, meetings, events, and day-to-day moments are being turned into content, • Brand reach, trust, and top-of-funnel awareness materially increase, • Content starts driving real inbound leads, consultations, and clients Who we’re looking for You are probably a fit if you: • Have a strong eye for social-first content, • Know how to shoot and edit quickly, • Understand what makes short-form content work, • Can spot a strong hook, strong clip, or strong angle immediately, • Are comfortable being in the room with a founder and helping direct energy, • Can ask simple but smart questions that get great answers, • Can take a rough idea and turn it into a polished, posted piece, • Move fast and do not need constant supervision, • Understand internet culture, pacing, tone, and attention, • Know that “good enough and posted” often beats “perfect and late”, • Can balance education, entertainment, authority, and authenticity, • Are organized enough to manage a high-volume content workflow, • Can be both creative and operational Must-haves • Proven experience creating content that has performed on social media, • Strong portfolio of short-form video work, • Comfortable filming with iPhone and lightweight setups, • Strong editing skills for short-form social content, • Ability to create content end-to-end: idea, shoot, edit, post, • Ability to work in person, 5 days per week, • Willingness to operate at high speed and high ownership, • Strong instincts for hooks, titles, structure, pacing, and retention Nice-to-haves • Experience working with a founder, creator, or personal brand in the finance, or accounting, or tax space, • Experience building content for education, finance, business, or expert-led brands, • Familiarity with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Descript, Opus, or similar, • Experience pulling clips from long-form content, • Experience managing a multi-platform content engine, • Ability to direct basic shoots and improve simple home-studio setups, • Experience working with memes, reaction content, or trend adaptation What this role is not This is not: • A passive social media coordinator role, • A pure designer role, • A pure video editor role, • A role for someone who only wants to take instructions, • A remote-only job We need someone who can be physically present, hear the conversations, notice the moments, and create in real time. Why this role matters We believe the future belongs to brands that earn attention and trust at scale. The CPA Dude already has the expertise, team, and service. What we are building now is the brand layer that makes the company unforgettable. This person will be one of the most important hires in the business, unlike other professional service firms we are willing to invest full-time into our creative roles and place a premium on content creation.
