The Role As the International Grants and Subsidies Manager at Stark Future, you will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing public and private funding opportunities—nationally and internationally—to support the company’s strategic projects in R&D, sustainability, industrial scale‑up, and market expansion. You will lead the full lifecycle of funding projects, from strategic identification and proposal writing to coordination, implementation, reporting, and final justification, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements. What You’ll Do • Strategic intelligence and opportunity sourcing: Proactively identify grants, subsidies, and public funding instruments from Spanish, EU (e.g., Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, CEF, LIFE), and international programs aligned with Stark Future’s mission., • Project design and coordination: Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, Product, Sustainability, Legal, Finance, etc.) to conceptualize and structure eligible projects with high‑impact potential., • Application preparation and submission: Lead the drafting of proposals, technical and financial documentation, and manage online submissions, ensuring accuracy, eligibility, and competitiveness., • Stakeholder liaison: Act as the primary interface with funding agencies, innovation platforms, consortium partners, clusters, and public bodies., • Grant management and reporting: Oversee post‑award grant compliance, including tracking deliverables, coordinating internal resources, drafting periodic reports, and handling audit processes., • Subsidy justification: Ensure full and timely justification of expenses, technical results, and KPIs according to funding rules, particularly in complex multi‑year projects., • Continuous improvement: Monitor regulatory updates and best practices in public funding management to continuously optimize Stark Future’s access to grants and incentives. What You Will Bring To Stark • Strong project management skills, with ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams under tight deadlines., • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish (Catalan and other EU languages are a plus)., • Strategic mindset with high attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance., • Proactive, autonomous, and solutions‑oriented with strong organizational capacity., • Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven and highly innovative environment., • Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders (ministries, agencies, consortium partners, etc.)., • Minimum 5 years of experience managing grants and subsidies, especially in Spain and EU programs (CDTI, PERTEs, ICE, ENISA, EIC, Horizon Europe, etc.)., • Demonstrated experience in the full project lifecycle: from opportunity detection and application writing to execution, justification, and audit., • Solid understanding of EU funding mechanisms, national incentive schemes, and sector‑specific support instruments for mobility, sustainability, industrial innovation, and cleantech., • Knowledge of cost eligibility criteria, state aid regulations, and technical‑financial justification procedures., • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as GMS, Participant Portal, Sede Electrónica, FUNDAE, etc., • Previous exposure to industrial or R&D environments—ideally in automotive, e‑mobility or cleantech sectors.
