The Safety Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the Group Chief Safety Officer to ensure the efficient management of safety reporting, documentation, and compliance activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate safety records, supporting safety management processes, and enabling effective communication between operational teams and the Safety Department. The selected person may be based in Spain (Alicante) or Portugal (Lisbon). MAIN RESPONSABILITIES Safety Administration & Recordkeeping Maintain and update the Safety Management System (SMS) databases and registers. Track and monitor the closure of safety actions, corrective actions, and recommendations. Maintain up-to-date copies of relevant safety manuals, procedures, and policies. Reporting & Data Management Prepare safety performance reports, statistics, and dashboards for management review. Support the collation and analysis of safety data to identify trends and areas of concern. Assist in the preparation of documentation for regulatory and internal audits as required. Communication & Coordination Act as the first point of contact for internal safety enquiries and report submissions. Coordinate safety meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions. Distribute safety alerts, bulletins, and newsletters to relevant stakeholders. Support to Safety Programs Support safety promotion activities, including campaigns, posters, and awareness events. Provide administrative support to safety investigations, including document collation and scheduling interviews. CORE CAPABILITIES Attention to detail and accuracy. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Essential: Experience in administrative support roles, preferably in aviation, transport, or safety-critical industries. Desirable: Experience with Safety Management System software. Understanding of basic safety management principles and regulatory requirements.
