Hi there!
We are looking for a Sys Ops L2 to join our team. In this role, you will support airline fleets by monitoring systems and applying updates and fixes using Ansible. You will collaborate with the Infra team to build and deploy scripts and tools that enhance and improve our environments. Additionally, you will work alongside other team members and departments to plan interventions and prepare new hardware for deployment in our fleet.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
Take charge of remote support for airline fleets.
Monitor and review systems to identify and address potential issues.
Deploy pre-made fixes through Ansible to ensure fleet operations are running 24/7.
Create and deploy simple scripts to resolve bugs in Linux environments.
Prepare new hardware (Linux servers) for upcoming deployments.
Collaborate with the INFRA and PRODUCT teams to communicate issues and develop solutions.
Coordinate problem resolutions with globally distributed teammates.
Contribute ideas and experience to enhance systems and processes.
Essential Technologies: - Linux Desirable Technologies: - Docker - Python - Go Required Knowledge and Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience with Linux OS (SSH, data transfer, log analysis, networking). - At least 2 years of experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Graylog, and Kibana. - Minimum of 2 years automating tasks and processes. - Proficiency with Python/Go and Bash scripting. - Familiarity with Docker, Ansible, and Git. - Troubleshooting skills for hardware and network issues. - Experience with Jira, Confluence, and KVM is a plus. - Hands-on experience with AWS tools and features is a bonus. - Advanced English & Spanish proficiency.
