Role Overview Bacha Coffee France is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Deputy General Manager of Operations to support the development and operational management of our France entity. This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across retail, coffee room, supply chain coordination, people management, service excellence, and operational compliance, ensuring that the brand’s luxury positioning and customer experience standards are consistently delivered. The Deputy General Manager will act as a key operational leader for the France entity and work closely with headquarters in Singapore to support business growth, operational scalability, and execution excellence. Responsibilities Operations Management • Lead and oversee daily operations across all boutiques, coffee room, and takeaway in France., • Ensure operational processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with global brand standards., • Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, service standards, inventory accuracy, and cost controls., • Drive operational readiness for new store openings, pop-ups, or expansion initiatives in France., • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational best practices. Retail & Customer Experience • Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional luxury retail and hospitality experiences., • Partner with store leadership teams to maintain high standards in customer service, presentation, and execution., • Resolve operational escalations and customer service issues promptly and professionally., • Support initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and operational efficiency. Team Leadership & People Management • Manage, coach, and develop operational and store leadership teams., • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and service excellence., • Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives., • Ensure teams comply with company policies, operational SOPs, and local labor regulations. Operations & Execution Excellence • Oversee end-to-end operations across Coffee Rooms, boutiques, corporate sales, warehouse, and central kitchen functions, • Ensure consistent execution of SOPs, service excellence, and compliance with local regulations, • Drive operational scalability and readiness for multi-unit expansion Leadership & Organisational Development • Provide leadership and vision across all functions, including Retail (Coffee Rooms & Boutiques), Corporate Business, PR & Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Production, • Build, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team and workforce, • Foster a culture of excellence rooted in luxury service and operational discipline Strategic Execution • Support the General Manager and HQ leadership in executing strategic initiatives for the France market., • Provide operational insights and recommendations to improve scalability and business performance. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Retail / Operations Management or related discipline., • Minimum 8 years' of operational leadership experience in luxury retail, F&B, hospitality or premium consumer brands., • Strong experience managing multi-site operations and cross-functional teams., • Experience in luxury customer service environments is highly preferred., • Strong operational, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities., • Solid understanding of French labor regulations and operational compliance requirements., • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational KPIs., • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills., • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving international business environment., • Fluent in French and English.
