DIRECTOR EUROPE Location: Paris, France Type of contract: Full time ABOUT THE ROLE The Commercial Director Europe will lead Parfums de Marly and Initio Parfums Privés across France and key European markets, driving growth, retail excellence, and brand desirability. This role oversees direct retail and distributor networks, focusing on sell-out acceleration, impactful activations, and optimized A&P investments. The Director will elevate visual merchandising, strengthen retail education, and inspire a multicultural team to deliver uncompromising luxury standards. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Brand Building & Retail Excellence in France (IPP & PDM) -Drive brand awareness and desirability in the strategic French market. -Elevate retail excellence across Grands Magasins and boutiques, ensuring luxury execution without compromise. -Guarantee perfect brand image through merchandising, retail experience, and service standards. Growth & Activation in Distributor Markets -Strengthen existing markets with high-impact launches and brand moments. -Deploy creative, locally relevant marketing activations to maximize visibility and desirability. Distributor Management & Sell-Out Focus -Select, grow, and challenge top-performing distributors with clear KPIs and accountability. -Build business plans focused on sell-out acceleration, not just sell-in. -Implement performance dashboards and rigorous business reviews. A&P Budget Optimization -Allocate and optimize A&P budgets for maximum ROI and brand elevation. -Ensure alignment with global guidelines while adapting to local market needs. Network Development & Visual Merchandising -Upgrade retail environments to best-in-class luxury standards. -Identify opportunities for space expansion and brand elevation. -Ensure consistent VM execution across all markets. Retail Education & Performance -Build and deploy impactful training programs in collaboration with Retail Education Head. -Ensure teams and distributors are immersed in brand DNA, storytelling, and product expertise. PROFILE & COMPETENCIES • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in luxury beauty, fragrance, or premium consumer goods., • At least 5–7 years in senior leadership roles managing multiple markets and multicultural teams., • Proven success in sell-out growth, retail excellence, and distributor management., • Strong background in commercial strategy and marketing activation., • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational drive., • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills., • Strong analytical and financial acumen, adept at managing budgets and resources., • High sensitivity to brand equity and luxury execution standards., • English mandatory COMPANY VALUES Entrepreneur & Agile Within our company, we all embody the spirit of entrepreneurs, operating within the framework of the organization.
