We are building a high-impact, international team — and this role sits at the core of our expansion. The Role Sophia Antipolis, France | International travel required | Near-native/fluent English (C1/C2) We're looking for an ambitious, commercially-driven professional with 5-10 years of experience to join our business development team. You'll work directly alongside our CEO and two experienced Business Developers to win new clients and drive CalibSun's international growth. No fully remote candidates will be considered. Key Responsibilities Sales • Follow up on leads and prospects, nurture relationships, and move deals through the pipeline, • Draft commercial proposals and contracts in collaboration with the team, • Close deals with large-scale renewable energy players globally Business Development & Market Analysis • Identify and qualify potential clients across continents — including solar power producers, energy traders, and battery storage operators, • Map and engage key decision-makers within target organisations, • Analyse target markets to identify where CalibSun's solutions create the most value International Expansion • Help coordinate CalibSun's expansion into new markets, • Contribute to and improve our commercial tools - pitch decks, proposals, market segmentation, and value propositions Visibility & Events • Represent CalibSun at international conferences, trade fairs, and industry events, • Help build CalibSun's reputation as a global leader in advanced solar forecasting Profile • 5-10 years of experience in sales, business development, strategy, consulting, or a related field, • Genuine interest in energy markets and technical topics, • Comfortable working in international environments, • Bilingual in English, • Willing to travel internationally on a regular basis, • Entrepreneurial mindset, • Experience in renewable energy industry is a plus Why Join CalibSun • Work directly with major global renewable energy players from day one, • Real autonomy and ownership of your work from the start, • Growth opportunities — as a non-hierarchical company, your progression is driven by your performance and contribution, • Be part of a young, dynamic team working on one of the most important challenges of the energy transition, • A company built for international scale, combining cutting-edge technology with real-world impact
