Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented European Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory management across our European sites. This role plays a key part in aligning inventory practices with business objectives, ensuring availability while minimizing costs and inefficiencies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABC inventory strategies, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a collaborative approach to driving continuous improvement across multiple production facilities. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory management strategies across 17 production facilities in Europe, • Apply ABC inventory analysis to segment stock and optimize planning, replenishment, and storage, • Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while reducing excess stock and obsolescence, • Work closely with site logistics teams, procurement, and production planning to align inventory with demand forecasts and production plans, • Analyze inventory KPIs (e.g., inventory turnover, days of supply, accuracy rates) and report trends, issues, and opportunities to senior management, • Support ERP/MRP optimization projects and digital transformation initiatives related to inventory, • Develop standard operating procedures for inventory control and promote best practices across sites, • Lead cross-functional meetings to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements, • Ensure compliance with internal controls, safety, and sustainability policies Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred), • Proven experience in a multi-site inventory management role, ideally within a manufacturing or packaging environment, • Strong expertise in ABC inventory classification and optimization techniques, • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus, • Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel or other analytics tools, • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, • Ability to work independently and travel occasionally across Europe, • Must be based within 50km of an adapa production site
